This is really beautiful and yes, just like fused glass. Perhaps if you put a silicone mat on the bucket before laying the piece over it. This might stop any possible sticking to the bucket.

Your project is so pretty. I have never worked with resin but your videos are inspiring me to try. : ) I was told that resin after a while turns yellow do you know if that is true??

All resin after years will prob turn yellow yes . But I have resin projects in my house that are over 3 years old and no signs of yellowing yet . I have 2 outside projects that are yellowing from the sun and heat so you have to keep the resin out of the sun. Also some resins are better then others.
