You must be having success using painters tape only to seal the back. The burring tool was a great tip from your fan. Every time I use a utility blade I nick myself. This is a simple project but the frame makes it pop!

Yes, I am really liking not having to glue it so I think the trick is to set cups under it, so no pressure is put on the tape

Hi Linda! You inspired me to try making one of these! I agree that cleaning and taking apart the frames is a pain. I usually hand paint, but in the future i will spray paint the frames. To clean up the back, i used my electric sander with 180 grit samdpaper. Its not perfect, but looks nice after you paint the back. I hope this suggestion helps. Thank-you for all of the videos! I love your channel and your artwork!❤

That is beautiful! Maybe you can just apply the vinyl to the glass before putting it into the frame. That way you could lay it flat on the table to burnish it down. Just a thought. I really enjoy your tutorials.
