thanks to your videos, i beat all the levels under par. rising sun is definitely the most versatile for quick missions. there's dojo rush, vx rush, engineer sudden transport, and shogun battleship fleet tactic.

You must assign one FutureTank to one tower. Also make sure that they attack at the same time. after the attack you MUST drive them back, for the Riot Beam to recharge. Then do it again. You take first two prism towers, then the second two.

My total time is 02:59:57 and I stopped there. I'm below 3 hours and happy about it.

@MarkJoel60 Thanks for the kind words. What I do is that I waypoint the Future Tanks. But first, I set them up so that they will take out the two spectrum towers (or teslas) simultaneously, that way each tower will only hit each tank one time and they will survive and autorepair. Next I set the future tank to attack with their secondary attack on the spectrum towers by a waypoint (hold ALT). Then I waypoint a move command to move away from the towers.

@BlackEagle351 Challenge-specific settings, like the unlimited Commando units thing from the "The Omega Program" challenge, where one unlocks Yuriko Omega. This is the reason the 4 Futuretanks already exist for the player.

@JointScorrer I experienced that the vindicators (from Giles) were more interested in bombing my ore refinery to kingdom come.. What are your timings relative to mine and whose vindicators bomb your future tanks? If it is from the owners of the spectrum turrets, I think you can manage to get inside to their base faster and target fire the airfield (if it built, if not target fire war factory with one tank's secondary ability, barracks and then mcv with the other tank's secondary ability).

I always feel like an idiot after watching these videos. I forgot that the riot gun special weapon could tear down a building. Once I saw that, I was able to get unstuck on this level. I love watching you play though.

Continuing: Then I take out the towers on the other side of the map in the same way. Then I go back to the first two tanks and take out the last two towers in the same way. By switching back and forth, the tanks have time to repair. You see the process from 1:25 (except the destruction of the towers, because then I start microing the tanks on the other side of the map). It is essential to keep all four future tanks alive, otherwise - it is hard to finish the challenge in less than 5 minutes.

On PC, I hold the left mouse button in, move the mouse (and turning the building), then release.

But you set them to attack and leave them alone, and they take out the telsas while you are on something else... Is there some special planning move you do there or something?

Ohw wow you could destroy the prism towers just like that XD. I thougt the designers placed them there to prevent futurtank rush, so I retreated after I saw them. I probably underestimated the power of future tanks.

There must be some sort of key configuration or key overview in the menu, example options -> controls. If not, then I dont know.

You use the riot beam, their secondary ability. It one-shots most buildings, except the Construction Yard. At 2:45 I use two future tanks to take out the ConYard of Purple/Pink with the riot beam. Just use the same on the spectrum towers.

Just noticed, at 1:35 you see the riot beam killing off a spectrum tower - just use 1 future tank pr spectrum tower.

It's just great to use the futuretank there. With soviets I've got the time down to 4:53. I'll get the video up after I've written my master thesis.

Hi! I hope u still remember about RA3. It is good to play as russians this one also - rush two land bases simultaneusly with Future Tanks, then transport them on islands with Twin Blades, I have 5:03 on that one.

this looks like fun, because i finished the Command and conquers, tiberum and kanes wrath and everything else i honestly need this or something, and down the line i'd get the red alert itself but this seems good enough

is it possible to put weak scouts like bears to stall the vidictors so they'll target them instead of your generators?

I figured you did, but I just threw the grouping (ctrl+0-9) in for consistency :)

I use the key "w", I think it is default. You must choose one VX, then hit "w" you get all VXs on the screen. Hit "w" once more and get all VXs on the map. Then Ctrl+1, if you want them in group 1.

I too can't manage to accomplish this feat, I either get my tanks blown up by the towers, or failing that I suddenly have to fight off 8 vindicators and my mecha bay isn't done yet. Usually I have both problems at once. I guess I just don't have the great macro required to do this mission :(

How do you get both tanks to use the riot beam at the same time? I keep having only 1 use it! This mission isn't worth the reward to me so I'm not gonna waste the time at this any further.

I did this under par as Soviets using The Future Tanks,Twinblades and Migs. It sucks that i lost all the future tanks (Damn Vindicators and Cryocopters) but destroyed both Hill and Lydia's Conyards after that i focused on Giles since he builds Proton Colliders using Migs to camp his airbases on each of his base then Twinblades finish the job. Once both his bases is destroyed finish the left overs of Hill and Lydia's when all the future tanks were destroyed and not yet defeated

I dont know why you have problems with them. I just choose one future tank and uses its secondary ability (by hiting F) on the tower. Done and done. At the same time, I do the same for the next tower. Then I move back. When the secondary ability has cooled down, I repeat with the next two towers. You are sure you use the secondary ability (the two beams) and not the primary ability (the ball of energy)?

Just for the credits and I dont need it anymore. Building anything else is a waste of credits. Also I get an engineer which either a) serves as a great target for the vindicators or b) captures an oil derrick.

I don't get it - why do the Spectrum Towers destroy my Future Tanks but not yours? Yours seem to move... faster, somehow. They only have one speed, y'know. Also, how would you do this with the Allies?

@J0sh258 I bet you used the Red Alert button. When you use that button, your time is automatically set to 99:59. If you want the actual time to count, do not use the Red Alert button.

dude, what is the hotkey for calling newly produced units from your far away base to join the attacking group of the same units (like all VX choppers) so that they could attack the enemy's base?

@CrazyOneRA3 When i did this, i used the soviets and called in the twin blades to transport the future tanks to the bases on the east and west to destroy their bases.

You can actually just riot beam the first 2 towers and go straight in you will take 2 extra hits but with enough microing you will have all ur future tanks with heroic and 65%ish also use soviet twin blade to bring ur future tanks to Giles it really hells

thats what i do but i have it for the 360 you dont have a mouse and you cand hit the f buttion its very diffrent in it takes a while to do esspeshally if your trying to make 1 of your 50 units do something diffrent than the rest of trying to make units use powers on diffrent targets

Tips if some of you choose to rush unsuccessfully: choose Japan faction, quickly build 2 gold factories then build war factory. Don't bother to defend gold factories. Next quickly build 6 or 8 mecha tango flying unit. Get 2 of them for each gold factories to guard. Then you see the blue mother***** stop bombing you for awhile. Get the next 2 gold factories on the south side of your base with same tactic then build some metatango and attack missile flying machines then rush to the bases.

This strategy works although it took me 15:36 min because I took my time building VX and Tengu but it's still under par.

Even The future tanks are useless in this challenge . My opinion is to grind them trust me build a crusher crane and grind the 4 future tanks and the mcv too you will get a lot of money .the crane returns 75% of the cost which means you will get 9000 credits From the future tanks and 3750 from the MCV

Japan is the fastest in most of the stages among the three factions,but in this stage Soviet can be faster. Build some twinblade and carry the X-1 to the islands and they will finish them off in about a minute

EA is weird. They make the Apocalypse Tanks sound like robots in this game, and the Future Tanks don't and they actually are robots. I also find it surprising that a unit used by a good faction has such a menacing voice, but oh well.
