For real. When I was little I actually did get beat up. And my family didn't try to help me. I ended up getting threatened by my mom. Esp from their past they are beyond blessed to have a loving family. Most can't can't relate sadly.

I love how protective they are of Brody. I think Brody is going to grow up to be a really cool, sensitive, artistic dude. He said before he loves to sing, you should put him in singing or guitar lessons. Being proud of yourself is soooo huge with kids who have had a hard past so it helps a lot to learn new things and skills

I love CRAZY PIECES to PIECES. They need to make a DIY FAIL bandaid. And one that looks like DUCK TAPE. Or a combo of the 2. Aaron FYI Mountain Dew is the worse soda for the kidneys. The medical field has tried to get a ban on that drink. The assumption is it is the yellow dye in that drink killing kidneys. A different caffeine free soda would be better for you. (I can't say much as I am a Dr. Pepper-holic. Used it to quit smoking. However I have reduced from 60/68 ounce per day down to 16.5/20 ounces per day.) * PLEASE consider the CRAZY PIECES & other branches of the CRAZIES - cut down on the sodas, especially Mountain Dew. Save your kidneys & your own life. GOD BLESS!

My heart goes out to the SLP who lost her coworker! On January 20th, 2016 my SLP colleague, mentor and friend. She had collapsed the day before in the school parking lot. It was devastating and I am still not over it. In fact, I also quit working because of her death and the deaths of two 3 year-old students within 10 weeks of each other later that year. It was just too painful to go to work and feel so many absences.
