I am so glad that Aaron is waiting to name his puppy, I so the same thing most of the time, sometimes names come straight to you but other times its best to let them earn their name. So glad to hear Jake wanted a Pittie (Pit Bull) true story... I was so afraid of them because of all that I had heard. But once my children had grown my son ended up adopting one. At the same time my mother was in hospice dying, my son's bestfriend since 1st grade past away suddenly... he had to go out of town and talking me into keeping his dog. While he went out of town for funeral and so on... He explains thst she is very well trained already and is a total sweetheart... then recommends that I keep her for just a day to see if I think it will work. I ended up keeping her with me throughout my stay at the hospice center and ALL THAT HAD BEEN THERE AUTOMATICALLY ASSUMED she was the hospice dog and not mine because she was so in tune when someone was sad, she would go try to comfort the. Or just lay beside them...Needless to say she help me get through the worst loss of my life and I waa able to end up keeping her till she passed away... several years later. I now advocate for the Pit Bull breed in our area. They are the best breed when just given the chance. Now I say, "There is NO such thing as a BAD DOG just bad OWNERS!!"
