i definitely recommend getting dash cams for everyone’s vehicles if possible!! i’ve noticed you guys have gotten into a few accidents, which is bound to happen with such a large family and so many drivers in the bunch. it’s always good to have that extra proof that you weren’t at fault incase you get into an accident with someone who tries to blame you. hope all is well with everyone!!

@@lcarson5071 that’s not true. having a bigger family means more drivers on the road therefore more likely one of them will get into an accident…. so it does have to do with them having a bigger family, but you’re right there’s a chance anyone in a car could get into an accident tho so everyone in general should have a dash cam to be safe

Liam is the sweetest boy! He was too worried things cost to much to add to the cart. Bella always needs to be the first to wish him Happy Birthday, it is their special bond for sure. Melinda and Scarlet I hope they are doing ok. Joe is just the best, him and Aaron just calming down everyone.

While in foster care, Liam never had the luxury of getting anything he wanted and it showed here. He was so conscience of pricing, and just wanted some stuff he could use or need, more or less. He will never be a spoiled child and I love that about him. Happy Birthday Liam!

I’m so glad Scarlett was safe in her car seat in that big truck, and she didn’t even feel it. I understand Melinda’s worries about what if Scarlett got hurt. That made me tear up because any time I avoid an accident I go into panic mode and think about the what ifs. My son is my everything and it sucks we can only protect them so much. ❤️

Aww Brody in the backseat hugging Scarlett! He's such a sweet kid and I love how much he seems to care about the little girls! I know he's still little but I can already tell, Aurora and Scarlett are gonna have an AMAZING brother/uncle in Brody to talk to whenever they need help or advice with anything in the future! And of course, HAPPY BIRTHDAY (I know I'm late) Liam! Turning two digits is a big event! Also, how amazing to have Aaron, Joe and Max come to support Melinda when she got in an accident. I can't think of a better trio in that situation than those three calm and supportive men!

Bella is an amazing big sister. I'd actually love to know if it has been a hard adjustment for Bella not 'parenting' Liam and ryland. I know with foster care when siblings are together the oldest is protective of the younger ones. So my question ultimately is has it been a hard adjustment for Bella to kinda let Aaron and Crystal be mom and dad while Bella is able to adjust and be a teenager??

If you recall on Mother's Day, Bella had a hand written card telling Crystal that she never thought she would have a mom. She probably felt the same way about her brothers wanting a mom just as much. She is doing a lot with Ariana, and now has the freedom to be a teen, without that caretaker responsibility and concern for her brothers. She will always be the big sister who loves and cares for her brother's happiness, but I have to assume she is very grateful all three of them now have loving, caring, parents, a bunch of fun and supportive siblings, a beautiful home, and a positive outlook for all of their futures. .

I was crying at the things he put in his cart and kept saying ohhhh thats too much……. then he gets socks. 😢 It says a lot about who he is and the things he may have been through. What an awesome kid. Continuing to pray for each of your kiddos as they grow and learn to understand HOW MUCH You guys REALLY Love them. Thanks for the unconditional love and security you freely give to your kids. You are such a blessing💞

I’m so sorry about Melinda’s accident. I know everybody is trying to make her feel better by saying, “Why do you feel guilty it’s not your fault?” And I 100% agree with that statement and love your family and friends that are there to remind her. However, I can understand the guilty feeling as well. We always hope that your loved one has a fantastic birthday (or any day) because we want to celebrate the day they came into the world. Melinda, just know that “guilt” feeling is just a feeling. It is not true. It just shows how much you genuinely care and love your family. And that much love and care you have is so amazing. I hope you remember that when that “guilt” feeling comes (or came) around. Your family and friends are so so blessed to have you in their lives.

She actually had two parents. Joe was there. He might as well be another Dad in the family. So sorry that happened. Happy B-day LIAM!!! You have a big heart. Some kids would be shoving all the electronics in the basket that they could. You thought about how much you were spending. You are awsome!!!!

Happy 10th Birthday Liam!! ** I remember when my kids turned double digits..that was really hard for me. It just was another indicator they are getting older. Liam is so cute and was so careful at the beginning of what he brought but it kind of gives you an idea of what he likes in the future. ** I'm so sorry Melinda. You will always remember a car accident but here is the things you have to focus on.. you both are alive and well. Yes it's stressful. Yes it's unsettling. Yes alot of things could of happen but didn't.. God hand is on your life..He cares for you..He is showing you know matter what the enemy meant for evil..God will turn for good for those who love Him.

Happy birthday Liam! You did a great job of covering everyone, filling Liam's birthday wishes, being there for Melinda and even celebrating Jared. Liam, sweet boy, you looked emotional when they were singing to you 💜, like it was bittersweet, comparing this year to the past. Then when you were shopping, being conscious of cost, and buying practical... it was a tell on your past, dear boy. But the best part of that is that it truly is past! Your whole family is blessed.

I empathize with your feelings about Liam's bday. It reminds me of something my grandpa, who passed 3 weeks ago at 91, always said to me. You can always plan the event however, God plans the outcome. I am a firm believer in everything happening for a reason. So many blessings to your family and how wonderful that at the end of the day, y'all are together and loving each other even harder. Wow. What a roller coaster of emotions kind of day. I couldn’t help but feel thankful for Liam and Melinda and Scarlet’s lives as I watched the video. As Liam blew out his birthday candles, I said a quick thanks to God for him being a part of your family and for the trajectory of his destiny to have changed for the better. I'm glad Melinda and Scarlett are okay. Congratulations on beginning your second decade of life Liam! I'm glad he had a good birthday because I remember Bella, Liam, and Ryland hating holidays which is so sad to me. I thought it was so sweet that Liam looked at the cost of something and said no to it but if I were Max and Crystal, I would've thrown it in the cart or gotten it for him when he didn't see. Lol.

I’m glad Melinda is ok, accidents are so nerve wracking. I was in one in January where we were stopped at a red light for a min at least and someone hit us from behind going 55mph. Everyone was fine but accidents happen to anyone and I’m just glad it wasn’t worse and hope you don’t have any lasting effects from it like I did

Wow!!! Talk about emotional roller coaster in a 30 min video! Happy for Liam, sad for Melinda, fun at the mall, swimming, cake, fun with Middles, worry for Melinda, fun at Walmart and then recognizing all the Blessings!!! I remember when I got into an accident while learning to drive and how scary that was (I was waiting at a stop sign to make a right turn and someone, who was coming in a little too hot, rear ended my mom's car). Thankfully the damage was minor and everyone in the car was okay but it still shook me up. I'm glad Melinda and Scarlett are okay and they had the truck to keep them safe. Like Joe said, cars can be fixed or replaced.

Crystal definitely understand how you felt durning all this not being able to be with both kids. But I feel you made the right choice. Since Melinda and Scarlett were ok. i feel Melinda's pain. the same thing happened to me, but i was younger with my first car that i purchased myself. its very frustrating to have a car that you worked hard for just be ripped away like that. especially when it wasnt even your fault. im so glad melinda and scarlett are okay though!

It's such a miracle that Joe and Aaron could go be with Melinda. My first bad wreck was just awful. My grandfather passed away suddenly at home and Dad called me to come. I was on a narrow street and a semi ran me off to the side. The police were so sweet and called my Dad to come. Dad was on crutches from a broken ankle. I hugged him so tight! I was bruised from top to bottom. It killed my spirit. Things did work out. It's hard! So glad they are ok!❤❤

Happy Belated 10th Birthday Liam may God continue to bless and keep you and your family safe, happy, healthy years yet to come, so sorry we missed your birthday and we are so sorry to hear about Melinda & Scarlet being in the accident thank God that they not injured any worse than what they could have i,we have dealing with dealing with renovations, where we live and so we are staying with family members and we have loved ones that have recently lost as well to death, this year has been very rough on many people and we have you all in our thoughts and prayers and we would all your prayers for us as well we need them.. So glad Melinda and Scarlett are ok. She probably has some whiplash and will be sore. Ice is best, 20 minutes on 20 minutes off. (Can alternate with heat.) Also the meds they gave he to take down inflammation will help. That and time. God bless her. I am praying for you, Melinda. 🙏💜🙏 Happy 19th birthday, Liam!
