I feel for you Aaron . My father passed away from stage 4 cancer in 2020. Watching his health decline everyday , was the most painful experience of my life. I thank God for giving me my dad for 30 years . I am so happy you get to have this time with your mom . It is a sad situation but I hope you know you will never have to go through your sadness alone . Your family is so big , loving and comforting. I’ll continue praying for your mom & your peace . 🫶🏽

Maybe a cruise to Alaska for the family trip? It is memories the kids will have forever and I think your mom would really enjoy the ship and all the kids would have activities for their ages and it would so comfy for your mom instead of a long long drive

My grandfather lived with Parkinsons for a decade. It was hard watching the disease progress. Ultimately it wasn't the Parkinsons that ended his life, but heart issues. Definitely take your mom on these trips! We never know when the end will be, every moment is so precious! Praying your mom finds a medication that will help her symptoms so her quality of life is as good as possible as long as possible.

Hi Crystal- prior to my divorce 15 years ago, we had a 27 ft fifth wheel that we used for camping etc. then bought rec property land near Lake Mayfield. this saved us a lot on camping fees. But yes you can A) Drive up to Seattle and catch a cruise ship to Alaska and do it that way. When My Dad was in the Airforce we were stationed at Elmendorf which is just outside of Anchorage. I loved it up there. Mom hated it. and you get to see the Northern lights on a good night. (weather permitting). :D

We have an rv before you take off you need an rv gps so you can put you height, length and weight and the rv will navigate you where you will not go under a bridge that is too low or a bridge you are heavy for. You also need a tpms to keep track of your tire pressure it will let you know if your tires are too low. You need a camera so you can see all around your rig. You also need a viair air pump to fill your tires

The story with Shelly on the ladder was funny. My brother and I stowed away in Daddy's pick up to go to work with him. In this day and age My Dad and your Mom would be bad parents. My Dad could not take us home so we spent the whole day in the back of the truck and he sent word to Mom letting her know where we were. I was four and My Brother was five. My Dad worked in the Oil fields.

I didn’t even make it 1 minute into the video before I’m bawling like a baby. My mom loves to travel and wants to do a road trip of the country. She stopped driving 6 years ago when my dad passed away. Flying is not an option for her either, plus you can’t see the “fly-over states” in all their glory if you are in a plane. That would be perfect as the couch behind the driver and passenger seats turned into a bed so your Mum could be totally comfortable travelling and close by to you so she isn't missing things or your company. Thank you for sharing. Your efforts to bring Aaron's mom to her siblings reunion and possibly visit Alaska are so touching. Travel with a rental RV is probably a decent and affordable option. Perhaps a cruise would be convenient, but rather expensive. Together you will make the trip happen, I'm convinced. And yes Crystal, there are scientific indications for lunar power when the moon is full. The higher intensity and brightness of the full moon's light can affect humans and animals. Basically all nature. Galileo and Hippocrates studied the phenomenon (and many cultures before them). For a long period full moon and madness were associated, hence 'lunatic'. And midwifes noticed more -early- births at full moon. It is nice to see you demonstrate the strainer with pasta this time. I found once at a market in Italy an adaptable lid, half closed, half strainer. Ideal. Wishing you to find a suitable travel solution for Grandma. Take good care 🥰 May I point out, that the recording is at times very unstable and bouncy again? It is regrettable when narrative and image don't match.

Just a thought - since Aaron's mom has Parkinson, consider a handicap accessible way for her to get on... And look at what would be easier for her - regarding sleeping, bathroom, and moving around the rig. And if there are easy, comfortable chairs or recliners that she can spend time riding or sitting - that is another consideration. And another idea - try renting one.

We have a large 5th wheel camper that we tow with a one ton diesel Chev duly truck. It has become harder and hard to find diesel gas stations as we travel. If you only travel on interstates you can find diesel truck stops but they are farther apart then a regular gas station. Also, diesel has become much more expensive then gas. Just something for you to think about if you want to buy a diesel motor home. And are you wanting to tow a small car so you can leave the camper set up and tour more easily around the area you are visiting an area. Driving the motor home around a city to site see can be difficult just to go to eat and find parking. RVing is allot of fun if you get the right camper.

Interesting you are looking at RV's. My dad had Parrkinson and getting in and out of the RV given the types of steps on RV's would have been very difficult/dangerous. Flying was easier. To make it easier we used the wheelchairs provided at the airport - Dad got to load first - without be rushed by those behind him. The Alaskan cruises are great.

I love that Aaron wants to get an RV so that you can travel to Alaska with your mom! Afraid to say I agree with Crystal, love glamping! Aww so happy that his mom gets to attend her reunion! LOL Aaron looks very uncomfortable with the thought of anyone but him driving his baby....perhaps he is remembering that Crystal tried to present it to him by driving in the house :) Bella and her chicken addiction crack me up-totally need a sponsorship deal- she even chose them in the blind chicken sandwich taste test! Crystal-your personality is totally my vibe-don't care about the features or size but can we get in it pink and is it cute! If Crystal had to give someone $5 every time she said cute :) OMG the ladder story-so glad you were safe! I love that your mom said if she knew, she wouldn't have removed you from the ladder but just drove more carefully! :) Hitches a ride but little Crystal is too scared to pose for a picture! Hannah so excited before she realized that she had no key :) Halie coming to shop at moms! Outed by the sister, not cool! I hope Aurora feels better and the other kids too! I love that Melinda is coming to spend time at home!

My heart goes out. One of my last aunts just passed from Parkinson’s complications . RV great idea to rent. Just make sure you know where to rent from . Camping World is through the States . They drain your septic tank etc. I’d think the kids would love it as well.

Hi Aaron, I don't know if this would be a benefit with your mom, but if she is in the wheelchair, unable to do stairs or anything like that feel free to look into renting a RV with a wheelchair ramp they do make wheelchair accessible RVs

My mom and aunt rode the car ferry from Washington to Alaska, and they even allow RVs.

If your Mom's health is failing, she might not even be able to climb those steps. An Alaskan cruise would be awesome. Totally handicap accessible, food is great, cabins are comfortable and there are lots of activities available even if she is in a wheelchair. And as many people as as want to go can go fairly economically. Lots of food choices and all inclusive

If you want to go to Alaska and avoid going thru Canada you can always take the ferry from Bellingham Washington and it makes several stops like to Juneau, Ketchikan, and Whittier, and from Whittier you can drive down to Seward, kenai, and then go north to anchorage and if you feel adventurous Fairbanks and North Pole, I know your mom will enjoy the trip

Let’s find a sponsor for the family to get the RV! They can put a wrap on the RV for the Crazy Pieces and that alone would pay for it!!!
