Her mother made the ultimate sacrifice by admitting she couldn't provide for her the way she knew she deserved. 💕 I'm so glad they were able to rekindle their relationship and even if they aren't close they can stay in touch.

You all seem to think that ALL kids want to see their birth parents. I know a few people who were adopted (some from birth, some as young kids/teens). The people I know all said "Yes, it was nice to have some questions answered,to find/se my bio parents, etc. but TBH, the person I call my mom/dad every day is my TRUE parent. Biology doesn't make a parent." Several of these kids went thru a lot before Crystal/Aaron, Shelly/Jared gave them a better life. Yes, it's great that Aaron & Crystal make sure these kids have access to their bio parents, but at the end of the day, I'm pretty sure these kids would choose the homes they have now any day.

This such a beautiful blessing Ariana got to see her birth mom again I am so happy for her and I am crying right now while watching the video I so happy that her birth mom gave Her to a family that gave her a second chance at life and that was a very beautiful surprise for Ariana birthday

I wasn’t adopted, but my biological father wasn’t even on my birth certificate so I went searching for me. We finally met and it was a terrible experience. He talked so poorly of my mother and refused to give me any medical information or anything regarding his history unless I called him dad or accepted him as my dad. I look at stories like these and I’m so grateful that your family has had positive experiences with biological parents.

I think she still looks sad about it even if it went well. She lived with her birth mother for 10 years, so she must have memories that are hard yo deal with. Also her birth mother probably did the right thing by "giving her up"

Ariana cried already 3 years ago. She now processed it and found closures. She can be in peace. And.....as she stated, Joe knows how to make a situation "unawkward".

One thing I noticed about arianna’s birth mom is she doesn’t JUST look at Arianna fondly. She looks at her fondly, then typically smiles at Crystal. Almost like she’s sharing in those moments with crystal as a mom. That just seems super cute to me.

Crystal, maybe it would be a good idea to get the kids journals that they can write down all the questions they wish they could ask their bio parents. That way if they get to meet them, they have their questions written down since it is hard to really remember what they wanted to ask. And then even if they don’t get to meet them, I think it would help to write and reflect on the things they wish they knew.

Everyone is saying how glad they are for ariana that she got to meet her biological mom, and I am too because that is amazing, but I'm also feeling so grateful that she has crystal as her forever mom. The way she kept looking at Crystal for support and encouragement throughout the whole visit and even the next day when they were talking about it is really heartwarming to see. You can tell how much she trusts Crystal to help get her through those complex and maybe difficult emotions. ❤️

I've been through something similar. I placed my daughter for adoption when I was 15. I couldn't care for her & wanted her to have a better life. I met her when she was almost 25! I was almost 40. We spoke on the phone & also emailed each other. It was definitely awkward at first when meeting in person, but wow! What an incredible journey so far! I totally understand Arianna's feelings.... I'm happy they were able to get together & that she has so much support!!!

As an Adopted child myself, this warmed my heart. My birth mom has been in and out of jail ever since she had me, and the last time she asked for an update on me was in kindergarten. I'm 18 now and a Junior in HS. I sincerely hope she's gotten herself together and started a new life for herself... one can dream...

💜💙💚🧡♥️❤️🥰I think it is WONDERFUL that Crystal and Aaron help the kids reconnect with their biological families***if possible. Just another puzzle piece that helps the children become whole. We ALL want to know who we are in life...and that helps us to grow and change into who will become in the future. This helps them maybe with the hurt and anger that they might have felt towards the family that gave them up...in many...many ways. A ❤️♥️🧡💚💙💜🥰😍 can hold and give a lot of LOVE!!!!

It must have been difficult for your mom to give up her children, not knowing their fate. I am sure she is ecstatic knowing you have the most wonderful parents and life any child could dream about. I am 28 and I reconnected with my dad after over 10 years. It was great because of the fact that we are both adults now so I can understand what was going on and it made our relationship so much better I’m so glad you got to meet her again.

Ariana and her mom look so much alike it’s crazy! I’m glad she got this experience! Closure is nice. My dad has never been around. My mom was an incredible single mother. I finally had contact with him after 25 years of life this year. And the emotions are ALOT to process. She handled it so much better than a lot of people my age could. Closure is all I want but I don’t know if I’ll ever be ready to meet him. I’m so glad she’s gotten this! ❤️

It can make a big difference if bio and adoptive parents team up . A lifetime of silent suffering full of pain, self loathing and confusion can begin to heal . Sadly too many of Us adoptees will never live the beautiful moments in this video . I am so happy for Ariana . May You never hurt in the ( big empty hole ) of anguish alone ever again sweety .

It’s so great to see the kids be brave and wanting to reunite/reconnect with bio family, and I think it’s so awesome that Crystal and Aaron have the heart to care about their children having those connections with their biological family members. Not everyone gets the chance at that and for them to allow it for their children is something to be proud of, and it shows that you’re really great parents!

It is amazing that they open their home and give children a loving home and family but they also help the children to create a healthy relationship with their biological family if they choose and they know it isn’t going to be an unhealthy situation. It is just so amazing the bond they all have and just everything about their family.

Im 22 and havent seen my dad in 6 years or my bio- mom in 4 years. I just talked to my biomom the other day because Im going through some health issues and she needed to tell me some relating info. I agree it can be very awkward. My step mom raised me after her and my dad got divorced. I wasnt adopted but shes the only parent I have consistently in my life. But Im so happy you were able to do that and get closure. I can imagine its both happy and sad at the same time.

When crystal told ariana she was seeing her mom I felt like I could see some pain in her eyes at the idea of doing it, its definitely an amazing experience but I felt like it took her by surprise and she didn't get to process it before going to see her (this is nothing against Crystal and the family and I'm not sure if this is even true its just my own analysis, and I'm just hoping that ariana is okay with everything and what I saw was simply a misread)

I think she was ready and like she said...she told her mom that she was ready 3 weeks earlier. There is a big difference from when she was 14....to now when she is 17. It was all good...it was a supervised dinner...short and sweet. Like they said....there was a lot of closure for Ariana in the meeting.

Made me cry. Happy Ariana got to reconnect with her mother. Now she & her can start a new relationship. I gave a son up 51 years ago & we’ve never met. It’s hard. Her mother is beautiful. Their skin color is sooo beautiful. She looks a little like her. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I am adopted from China and I still haven’t been able to find my bio parents and I will never be able to. I took 23 and me and none of my family members have taken it so I know nothing about my bio family. It upsets me knowing I’ll never meet my bio parents because I just want to know why they gave me up.

You may have to submit your DNA results to a group that is primarily a databank for Chinese-born or with roots from China. Read somewhere of 2 of such databanks, the names just escape me now. They are said to be helpful in reuniting families.

What a gorgeous bio mom.. You can see exactly where some of Ariana's looks came from. I love that her bio mom gave the best gift to her kids by giving them up for adoption for a better life. I am glad you got to sit down with her when you were ready.

I’m glad that Ariana got to meet her and spend a little bit of time with her and I’m glad that Ariana has her mom (crystal) to be by her side always me and my mom are best friends so I’m glad that crystal can be that for Ariana ❤️
