I'm from London and it's jogged a memory the "name, long pause, just stop" that was the ultimate way to send a mate or enemy appeplectic. It's devastatingly patronising, immasculating, and all you have to do is wait till they finish they're hissy fit. Ango again. This worked as kids. Brian definitely lives up to his name.
