Create a beautiful muted pastel watercolor palette with Daniel Smith Buff Titanium. This color adds a bit of creaminess to your watercolor paint, making it gouache-like. In this video, I’m using 10 colors and mixing each of them with the Buff Titanium to see what each watercolor mix looks like.

Swatching never gets old. The buff titanium leans towards a warm yellow, so I would expect blue colors to become more green when mixed with it.

I love "experimental" videos like this! One of my favorite things to do is mix DS's lunar black with colors to mute them, and to make non-granulating colors granulate. I've recently discovered that you can do the same thing with potter's pink, even the non-reddish colors, since it's such a low-tinting color. So fun! Thanks for sharing!

Yikes! You used the granulated watercolors! Not in my budget. How about a test with regular watercolors? Will the buff titanium work the same with them?
