In this Affinity Designer tutorial I will show you how to create a 3D version of your own design or logo. This is a really easy technique using the duplicate feature as well as the transform tools.

Thank you. Great video with clear instructions. Fast, but clear. I had to watch it a few times, sometimes at a slower speed, but I got there atlast. During practice, I did convert the shape to curves and adjusted the perspective a little bit, so that it looked realistic. Why Affinity has not given the tools that it already had in DrawPlus, I will never understand. DrawPus is the old vector software from Serif and it had so many useful tools that Affinity simply does not have. Envelope, Blend and Instant 3D to name a few.

I don't understand why they haven't included these features into affinity if they've already used them in previous software. I've never used DrawPlus, but would definitely love to see easier options for creating 3d. I'm sorry the video was a little fast paced, I just try to get straight to the point without taking up to much of people's time 🙂

LOL I held cmd J for about 5 mins... it never changed shape. I think they have changed how cmd J works... I do have MANY thousands of layers now tho ... I would recommend just making a new layer and then changing the y value up or down by x amount for each new layer. Edit: the transform reads the exact same cords for each layer
