Today we are going to take a slightly damaged dollhouse wardrobe by Xacto and turn it into a magical wardrobe from the book, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. I have always loved this book and the entire series of the Chronicles of Narnia. Hope yo enjoy this project and maybe try it for yourself!

I love the Chronicles of Narnia! This project was awesome to watch. I'm finishing a photography studio in a room box currently. The box with a magnetic lip lid came with a Christmas present. I had some some vintage photos and built a desk from random scrap wood. Thanks for continuing to inspire me.

A very convincing illusion,like the stairs to the basement. I have the EXACT same boxed set of Narnia books! I think that I recieved them for Christmas,1980! Stay warm,tiny Whitney,you’ll turn into a little ice cube in no time,if you’re not careful!

BTW,a magical portal to another world is called a ‘Mimsy’. You create Mimsys all the time,as a dollhouse is indeed another world.

Usually wardrobes of the time would have the mirror on the inside of the door (usually the right door) rather than on the outside facing into the room.
