If you are going to print some flyers I always recommend printing local. Nine times out of ten there usually is a mom and pop in your area. Hope this help!

As for the file type, that would depend on your printer specifications. Most printers here in the US request a PDF file, but I would just double check with your printer before sending anything. Hello Master W, I’m happy to hear you found this video helpful! Also, what a great question. When getting this ready for print you would need to tell your printer that the artwork is at half scale. This will let them know to enlarge at 100%. Once printed the artwork will not be as sharp as full scale, but most people will not notice unless you get really close. Hey there Fizzy, if you’re printing a large banner I believe your printer was referring to inches or millimeters depending what part of the world you’re from. Pixels would only be used for digital assets and really never for anything printed. So if it is in inches half scale would be 42.5x100in. Again I would confirm with your printer and see what they’re using as their unit of measurement. If you have any other questions let me know. Thank you for your time and support! Richard

That’s a great question Ruby, depending on whether or not you have Canva Pro you could just resize the Canvas and adjust the different elements. If you don’t have a Canva Pro account and just the free version you would need to create the design again. You might be able to copy and paste from the horizontal design into the vertical. Hello Ekaterina, there are some thing to consider when printing for large format. For example if you are using a Canva free account you are only allowed to save your file as a medium resolution PDF. This might cause your finished print to look a little blurry. Not to mention large format prints are already printed at a lower resolution due to file size. Another thing to consider would be the assets you are using in your design. For example, if your are using an image that’s low resolution and you blow it up to your finished size. Doing so will cause your image to come out really pixelated. So I would suggest using high quality assets for the best result. These are just some things that might cause some issues, but if you have a Canva pro account and high quality assets you should be good to go. If you have any other questions just let me know. I just chatted with a VistaPrint rep and both files would've worked but the larger PDF Print one was better and said it would come out clear. We shall see once I receive the banner because that file on my computer didn't look clear. But the 80" Banner i created on Canva worked for a retractable banner so they must've increased the size now.

Hey @user-uy2su8wk5k, I'm not sure what the max size you can create a canvas in Canva is. Also, you are correct about the images being blurry. When creating large format printing you usually keep the file at 72 or 150dpi. This reduces the quality but also keeps the file size much smaller. Hello C.H and thank you for stopping by! I'm telling you Canva needs to up their game with the maximum project size. Now the project you are trying to create exceeds their maximum size so we will need to work at half scale. In other words your 47 x 79 (in) canvas turns into 23.5 x 39.5 (in). This is standard practice when working with large sizes. Once you have your design completed just take the file to a local printer and tell them you want the final size to be 47 x 79 (in), but that you created your artwork at half scale. Hello doggie, although Canva does not allowed really large canvas sizes you can work around this. By creating your canvas at half size your printer can scale up to the appropriate print size. I hope this helps! Richard

Hi Pj Singh! This tutorial used the free version of Canva. In fact all my tutorials use the free version of Canva. I’m not sure where you are located, but it could be that Canva offers different features depending on your location. If you are located in the US the custom size feature can be found at the very bottom of the drop down menu once you click on “Create a design” from there you can add a custom size. Hello ShaynaBrielle, that would downsize to 43.2x10x43.2. I would create a new project in Canva with those dimensions and design your circle within that. Hello NIKHIL, Canva does not allow you to create a project at that size unfortunately. What you will need to do is convert your 12ftx10ft to inches and then reduce to half scale. See example down below. 12ft X 10ft → 144px X 120px → 72px X 60px Then you would take the new size 72px X 60px and create a custom Canva project to that size. I hope this helps you out NIKHIL!
