I did make one first in codeblocks to get my wits about me. With practice I have become good at figuring out the math for the next part. I did start my career as a math teacher too though. =)

Make sure you have the order of the objects correct. The final object always has to be below the parts it uses.

I see that 'align' isn't available in codeblocks. HOW did they leave that out??

It is because of how every object adds at 0,0,0. The are by default aligned, then you have to move it. When you get slick with variables it is pretty cool.

@@HLModTech Have you even used align?? Your explanation makes no sense. Align is probably the most used tool in Tinkercad.. Hopefully they will add it to codeblocks, as it is CB is pretty useless for real work.

LOL! Yeah, I use align when I use the traditional editor. Codeblocks is built around math. Similar to using designing with OpenScad. Check out how designing from the origin works with this chair. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m5eko9Zems7cl4k.html It is pretty slick for placing a 4 legs evenly.

I will take a look. I think the idea is still the same. They just changed the name of the purple starter. What part of the lesson are you stuck on.

At the very bottom of the tools you can find the legacy parts (create new object) etc. Then the tutorial will still work. The new version is to use Templates. I will see what I can do about a tutorial for the new way.

On the Tinkercad desktop, you can click the gear for that design and then choose to either make a share link or make it public. Who are you trying to share it with?

The most common error I see is to have the parts below the final "rocket" or "launch". It will flash a red warning... You can send me a screenshot via gmail if you wish. hlmodtech
