This tutorial is what inspired me to get serious about Blender. This was the spark needed to realize that I CAN make all those wallpapers on photos I see on the internet. Thank you.

The hardest part of this tutorial was figuring out why by lighting looked so different from his before he showed us how to set up the environment and adjust the Eevee settings. I didn't know that LookDev took on the effects of whatever settings you used for Eevee. He's teaching me things that he didn't even mean to teach!

Yeah, just spent 15 minutes on it. :-) Eevee > Ambient Occlusion + Bloom + Screen Space Reflections...

Hey ducky, one thing: when you make looping keyframes with rotation, make sure you go to frame 1 and put 0 degrees, and then go to the end of the timeline +1, because if it's looping, frame 1 and 121 are the same, and put the 360 degree keyframe there. if you put it on 120, you'll have 1 frame that's duplicated, and sometimes that can be noticeable.

Yes! Finally you use M instead of Ctrl + G to create new collections. I always think this way is better because it will automatically put my objects into new collection so it won't mess up with my original collection. Anyway, thanks for the great tutorial and keep it up~

When you start to setup your camera animation, make sure to set the Interpolation Mode to linear, if it's not already by default. Otherwise, you could get some acceleration and deceleration in your camera movements.

Thank you for this and all your straight forward and easy to understand tutorials. One question, is there a way to render this animation so there is no point of light in the render? In other words, the ambient illumination of the point light is there, but not the bright point of light in the center from where the illumination is emanating?

Man, using a voronoi node to drive the brick texture creates a result I have been dying to figure out for ages now, thank you so much.... That sweet "paneled" look is so sick. Is there a node setup that would allow to use the emission shader in just the mortar/crack areas of the texture? And perhaps change the width of that area as well?

Hi, I try to do this tutorial in Blender 3.1. When you set up the particle system at 7.07 min and you choose object for instance object the order of my "blocks" are different than yours. On the X axis I get just a few smaller blocks. Also when I click on Object rotation the blocks are kind of paralel with the cube 001's faces but they are in a distance from them so when I do the rotation because of the distance I can't get the same result what you have. What am I missing or doing wrong?

SO I did this tutorial, amazing job btw! and I added some logo animation in the middle basically using the towers as background. But when I render the animation its just a checkered wallpaper. Not sure if its take extremely long, even when using Eevee. But just wondering why it "won't" export. Been trying to find solutions for days.
