It's midnight and I can't decide whether to start this or wait until morning because it's just the cutest album and I'm excited. I made your little Mother Goose tag album several years ago with the moon on front - it's my favorite little album I've ever made. Thank you Annette so much for your generous tutorials. Love you work! Your tutorials are so clear and easy to follow, love them. I use a off cut of the cardboard to space out the diverend parts I always use the same cardboard so I can use it over and over again. Loving whishes Aya

Annette, I ABSOLUTELY love this album. I have to make a baby album for my daughter to give to her good friend who is having a baby shower next month. The baby's room theme is Aviation, so that will be my album theme along with a few 'baby' papers. I am making (or making an attempt) to make your album. You did a phenomenal job, & I hope mine comes out 1/2 as nice. As for the pocket die...I just bought that the other day from Amazon...should be here tomorrow. Can't wait to get started on this album. I love this album...I know this video is years old but its a classic that will never go out of style. Can you put photos on the back of the waterfalls and would it just be photos or can I add mats and photos?

You can add what you like, however be aware of how thick and bulky it will become with more paper and photos on the back sides. The magnets might not meet up unless you did those panels last.

Love this video. Any idea where I can find the long miter tool? All I am finding is one about 3 inches long. I like the fact that the long one fits perfectly between the creases of the book. Thanks

Thank you! Unfortunately that tool is no longer available and the only one I can find is that shorter one as well. I've heard of crafters glueing two sheets of chipboard together to use as a spacing tool.

Thanks so much Gail. Ginger and I aren't doing our Creative Mountain Retreat anymore after this fall, which is our fifth one. I am working out my plan for 2022 and would love to come up with something for smaller groups that I can manage on my own. I've missed seeing people in the flesh! So I've got some ideas brewing. Love your albums! What chipboard do you use and how thick is it?

Thank you Kelly. I always use Grafix brand, medium weight chipboard. (Amazon) They say it's .05 thickness which I believe is considered 50 pt.

Due to the amount of paper then the photos that make too thick for the magnet to work, I don’t think you can place it underneath the waterfall on the base. I would place it in the first page under the decorative paper.

Where do you get your good cardstock from? I know you said 12x12 cardstock but did you also use 12 x 12 for the base or 8.5 x 11? Thanks for this I love it and I am making it this weekend

Hi Brenda. I don't usually purchase 8.5 x 11 cardstock, just 12 x 12, and I get it from Michael's or Hobby Lobby. It should always be at least 80 lb weight, nothing thinner, in my opinion. Have fun making yours, and if you post on social media, make sure to tag me. I would love to see!

How do the flaps with magnets attach to the waterfalls? You said put magnets in between flaps.. somehow I lost where the opposing magnets go

Sorry about that. The opposing magnets go under the 4"x6" cut-aparts on the top of each waterfall.

Once you add photos to the waterfall will the magnetic closure still work?

Absolutely! You just have to get them on the most outer layer you can. They can't be buried under thick layers or they won't work.

I'm sorry that one isn't available now. It's been many years and it was specially made for an event by one of my customers/students. You may want to check with WeRMemoryKeepers. I believe they've recently come out with something very similar.

I'm sorry, do you mean the paper? You can really use any paper you like. Graphic 45 doesn't keep their papers in stock for a long time, Just until it sells out. Hope you find something you like in place of what I've used. There are so many wonderful G45 collections that will work in place of these I've used. Check out Life's A Bowl of Cherries or Little Things, or Little Ones if you want to make a baby book.
