Create amazing Black and White or Toned images Affinity Photo

In this video we look at how we can create stunning Black and White as well as Toned images in Affinity Photos using the Gradient Map.
Once created this can be saved as a Preset making it easier to apply to future images.

I've seen a number of tutorials on techniques for doing black and white. Couldn't decide which one to use, until your video. Yours I think is the simplest and most effective. Thank you.

Thank you David for this excellent tutorial. I have learnt three things in this - a) converting to amazing B&W, b) adding different colour tones to the image, c) selective colour. I’ll be using these methods from now on.
