Too many steps and confusing. You can get glow effect with just one layer for painting, one gradient map and if required one adjustment layer. Guys whose tutorials are sponsored deliberately give long tutorials and waste time.

The way nemanja did it, you can always go back and change something. Of course it’s personal preference, but this is the best way

Messed up on a first second, really. Why couldn't you just show how to make this layer mask, mine has transparent background that spoil everything..
