For me, it took only one hour. You need to join their Discord server and wait for their announcement. They always make a Google form for you to submit to get free access. They do it in batches; in my case, it was the first 100 people who submitted the form. In one day, they almost make three batches.

Yes, you're right. There are still plenty of errors that need improvement. That's why LTX is still in beta, and only a limited number of people have access to it.
