"This might steer into comedy if we're not careful." YES! Quick writing often does. I used to participate in 48 hour film festivals a lot and I was often the head writer on our team and it was so hard to write something quickly that incorporated all of our criteria (we were given a prop, a line, a genre, etc.) without it steering into comedy. We accomplished it well a couple times, but the biggest challenge during the writing stage of a 48 was always making sure trying not to be too comedic.

There are two wolves wrestling inside of Alex. One is Scope Creep. The other is Remember Time Pressure Is Terrible. Somewhere around the two hour mark they've teamed up to help Alex survive his regrets while (on Twitch) chat was singing "Hellfire" by Jonny's old band The Mechanisms (because everyone agrees Jonny can do a better fake American accent than Alex). April's real-life dog Chewie provides vocals for the second wolf in the background.

A fun detail I'd give to old Elon where I to write this, fiddles with a marble Checkers piece in a similar fashion to a coin. He thinks it makes him look mysterious and cool, but is later found at the scene of a crime, and is one of the only pieces actually linking it back to ol' elon

Having recently had to use audacity to record an audio presentation for some uni coursework (had no idea what i was doing - it was the only editing software I vaguely knew how to use) i am kicking myself for not normalizing and compressing the audio because of course that's what those functions do. I had to put in clips of a performance and i could not figure out how to stop them being massively quieter than my voice. It doesn't actually matter because they don't care about recording quality, just the content of the presentation. but knowing that I could have made it better is killing me

I could understand almost none of what Alex what doing (I did understand a very little bit bc I've made a Very Bad ad & music vid in a class before but miniscule in comparison) and I still watched this entire thing and was thoroughly entertained. Honestly my first thought with the finished piece was literally "holy shit". I'll let whoever reads this decide what that means.

Yeah, but the differences aren't that huge. Just few keys in a different place etc. There are actually many different keyboards! It's not just American/British, there's also many other European keyboards with their own special letters (e.g. Ä/Ö/Å in my Finnish keyboard) 👍🏻
