Regarding cannon length - the bullets despawn after set time, and more barrels makes the bullets faster so they reach farther. Also, you can use the big cannons on carriages and autocannons on normal mounts.

7:20 those are fuzes, you need to combine them with a filled autocannon casing to make a cartridge, they are apart of a crafting recipe

Shalz could make an airliner with the create aeronautics mod

What Im guessing is going to happen with the cannon on an aeroplane is that you can have it unassembled but once you assemble it and move the aero plane it wont move with the aero plane and will just slide off, if it is like this then it will have its pros and cons.

@Shalz 2 things: check the create config and second, build a fighter jet if you can use vs and can increase the rate of fire in create config

YES, a new create video!!

I installed eureka and you can use cannons with it and the carriage works with normal cannons which is why they added the handheld loaders so you can load a normal cannon on a carriage you do it by making the cannon on the carriage DO NOT ASSEMBLE THE CANNON then place the powder charge use loader repeat as many times as you need to have enough powder charges then use the shot with the fuse if needed make sure you do each charge and shot one by one or else it breaks and then assemble the carriage/cannon. Hope this helps

Longer barrels tend to increase the accuracy and range of a projectile. The barrel helps guide the projectile forward, as it prevents the projectile from going sideways.

I believe the point of the cannons is less short-range protection but more long-range as in literally bombing someone's house 300 blocks away

You can even see the slot on the breech where the clips are supposed to feed through, I hope they add a fixed version so you can mount it on a plane and have some sick dogfights in the air or strafe bases and airships Btw the AP and FlaK ammo didn't do anything most likely because they are crafting components that will be combined with a shell casing and gunpowder to create a complete cartridge

Hey American here a the ammo you shot is a catrage and round combined the round is the part that flies out of your gun and the catrage is the ting that propels it (This is a simple version of what ammo is)

First second caught me offguard and scared shir out of me

so, while you cannot use clockwork and this mod together yet, you can TECHNICALLY make a cannon, that stays on an AIRSHIP from the valkeries skies mod, while it visually looks a bit janky, and MIGHT lag a littlle, you can have a wheeled autocannon on an airship, you can also set the ship to go in cruise control mode, meaning, move forward, hit the key, get out of the helm, it keeps moving in what ever direction you were heading including turning, so you can one man an airship with one autocannon thats wheeling around on it, shooting anything that passes by. no, you cannot sadly shoot your own ship...or...any it seems? was fun to test.
