In this bboy footwork tutorial, we are hacking our way to create infinite bboying footwork variations and no I am not joking.
This footwork hack to create infinite variations ties back to a simple trick we all learned in math class when we were kids.I just took the essence of that simple math principle & applied it in bboying and that’s what this how to breakdance episode is all about.
I promised yall, I’ll be coming up with dope videos and no we are not making bboy tutorials about 6 step footwork tutorial or 3 step footwork tutorial. There are hundreds of footwork tutorial videos on KZfaq. So I am kinda not interested in rehashing content and adding to the noise.
So what can you expect? My videos will specifically talk about b-boying ideas, obstacles that are often not discussed in the how to breakdance segment. Things such as the creative block that most bboys & bgirls often face, and many more interesting topics that I have in my mind.
I want to help my fellow bboys & bgirls to do more critical thinking in order to explore more unconventional ideas that haven’t been explored. So, yeah, it is what it is.
Also we pay our tribute to the one and only, call him the Creator of Lo-fi hiphop or the King of Chillhop, the man, the myth, the legend Seba Jun aka Nujabes. His music has helped me get through some really tough life phases. I owe him a lot. Rest In Beats Jun. Your legacy will always live on. Gone but never forgotten!
Also if you guys like this video, do give it a thumbs up, it helps me reach more and more bboys & bgirls. And, if you’d like to subscribe then that would mean the world to me.
I forgot the password of my old instagram account. So I made a new one & here it is. In case if y'all wanna connect with me on DMs, hit me up!

Man, I love the content. I hope you are doing well. I use to watch your variation videos all the time. I started training again and revisited your channel for some inspiration. Just wanted to let you know, that even if you don't have many views/subscribers, you are still impacting some individuals. Love and respect from Los Angeles, Ca.

Allowing yourself to be whack is for sure the key to break loose from conventions whether it be painting, sculpting, breaking or just about any creative category. I also feel it allows you to just simply have some fun like you said, and more importantly for me to not be too hard on oneself in the first step of the process. I think it can actually be pretty hard sometimes to come up with whack stuff too, because the body wants to steer into conventional routines once it comes up to speed. I think its really interesting to see that ugly looking moves turn into something beautiful when they get put into a bigger context, like a chain of moves. Not to start a whole new topic but I cant help thinking about the definition of whack vs. dope. Because when reflecting on it I def feel it helps me to step out of myself to have an more objective idea before diving into my own rules of esthetic choices.

Couldn't have said it any better. This is why I really enjoy consuming cypher content that is online over watching battles and shit. The reason being, in the cyphers, there are these absolute magical dope moments that happen which basically most of the times is just a bboy or bgirl being in the absolute moment and actually crashing flat. They end up crashing and that actually breaks the conventional movements and it literally creates the impression of something unique just happened for a split second. Bboy Machine winning IBE Footwork battle 2005 is literally INSANE. Feels like he won the whole thing doing impromptu freestyle and till this day i dont understand how can someone move like that haha. Bboy Kmel and Flea rock in a 2on2 battle where Kmel rocks a blue tshirt is crazy too.
