Hi Chandeep, you always create great videos with great info and it's very helpful for us to learn thru your channel. I recently came across a report where a Matrix view is there and on mouse hover, the complete row is highlighted instead of just that one cell. I tried to find the info on the web but had no luck, it would be nice if you know how it works, please create a video around the same or help with the steps on this post. Thanks in advance!!

Hi Chandeep, thanks for the detailed vedio i have a small doubt here - since the product and calendar table are not related and there is one to many relationships exists between the product and sales table, so when we are creating a best sales product using the product table, the date filter context is not flowing into the product table .... so how this is determining the best-selling product for each specific month, in excel if we try the same, it will look for the whole of product table to give the best selling product ignoring the date filter.

The best product is defined by TOPN and the month filter comes from the visual

5:55 Bingo... That's what I thought. As I said, I thought this kind of thing will and MORE confusion to your analysis, when being presented, than the benefit it would give. Again, you have 1 AMOUNT listed on your table - which corresponds to 1 PRODUCT - THE (1) TOP/BEST SELLING PRODUCT. But you have listed 3 products - and you could do a separate table showing this - the best selling amounts in 1 column and the product name in a 2nd column - and filter down to the top 3 in that table, if needed.

Hi, i have one scenario where i want only latest record in power query. Example: Column Names Emp ID, Emp Name, Visited Date. This is one hotel entry record. Record enter manually, record may be added in a month many times or some months may be not entered also. 3:32 Wait .. But they only asked you, "What was the name of THAT product?"... Therefore, they are only asking specifically about the product of the amount of the "Best Prod Sales". So why do you need to give 3 products? I think that would be very confusing. If they wanted a list of the Top 3 selling products, they should have asked you - and then you could create a table specifically for that purpose.
