I have a doubt regarding further link. As you created sub category. How the data gets filtered out when I will click on women> glasses. On clicking glasses subcategory it should show only sunglasses. so how will i map it to that. I know your video is old now but would like to request you to kindly share the update on this as well.

You need to add the collection page link in the sub-colletion metaobject entry, so on-click of sub-colletion will redirect to the same linked collection page. Simple and efficient solution yet.

Hello JHamilton, I really appreciate your amazing comment. 1) Due to this is a section, so you can add where the Add Section+ Button is available. Not sure about the sidebar. 2) Yes you can have many layers as you explained in the example. The idea is the same, as you add Subcategory on the 'Men Collection Page' same create and add sub-colletions metaobjects entries to next layer collection page i.e clothing collection page and repeat the same to the jacket collection page. Hi, thank you SO much for making this video. I have a question: my theme includes a subcollection template already. If I simply assign my "subsubcollection" template to collections, they will appear nicely formated in a subcollection page. Does this mean I do not need to do any of the steps in this video, or should I still follow all steps up until the part where you create a custom section? I am confused by all of this!

Hello, Please keep in mind: 1: Subcategory metaobjects will add on a compatible Section. 2- As you said, I guess you have a subcategories "Section". Check the section block and if it supports described elements like image- title- link , you should add metaobjects dynamically (as seen in video) 3. Purpose is to make subcategories dynamic, like in Men's collection should be men's sub-collections, and in women's - women's subcategories. That's why we created metaobjects. 4. Don't forget to add metaobjects entries to relevant collection page, like For Men's collection page add subcategories entries as shown in video. (If you are feeling confused, draw a map on paper and utilise accordingly) I believe this description should be good to proceed to adding ''subcategories" to your store.

Hello, The currency selector must be from an app, and you can remove it by uninstalling the app. If you are using the Dawn theme, there is no built-in currency selector.

Hello, i didn't understand your query, however you can double check steps in the video. 1. When your metaobjects are not visible to connect, means the type of data is not supported or compatible. 2. Make sure you added entries to related pages, like collection page, product page etc. Kindly check.

It's simple collection URL, Just create collection and copy the URL and paste in related metaobjects Subcategory. Like Main Collection - Men Sub-colletions is - Dress Shoes Create a collection of Dress Shoes, click view button , copy the collection URL and paste into dress shoes metaobject.
