Cute ! An advise, the nail polish will not last over polymer clay, its not suitable to it and there will be reactions, crackling, .... It would be better to use a special glaze for Polymer clay. But you can also just sand (With fine car body sanding paper to be used with water, Nr 400 to 800) and burnish the clay, with an old piece of jeans or of coton. It will shine like with glaze. ;)

for the "gems" on the rings i used beads and/or some polymer clay. you could really use anything :) im so glad you enjoyed the video!

hey mariola, so the metal things to make the rings are actually metal icing tips wrapped in aluminium foil :) hope that's helpful

hmm i've never used silk clay or soft clay to make the rings before. i think silk clay should be okay however, it might a little fragile. polymer clay would be the most ideal because it's not as fragile when it's set :) hope that helps 🥰

hey yura! the spray is actually rubbing alcohol to get rid of the lint. the stones were okay in the oven. However, i would take them out before baking the rings and super glue them after :)

hey rain! i sprayed my rings with rubbing alcohol to get rid of the lint on the rings :)

why do you have to spray rubbing alc on them?

the rubbing alcohol actually removes the lint and the fingerprints from the rings so they have a smoother finish 🤠🤎

Hey Christa :) I think you totally could do that. I would suggest making sure that the paint is evenly coated and properly dried before adding the clear coat.

I followed the instruction on the clay packaging just because each clay bakes at a different temperature. But I baked mine at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for about 12 mins :)

Hi Su-An :) I would recommend using Modge-Podge or using a clear nail polish and adding a thin coat!

you could also use airdry clay, however, your rings will be a lot more fragile. polymer clay gives the ring more flexibility and more durability :) i hope you can find some ☺️
