Today, we're going on a journey together. An Art Journey. Sometimes journeys don't travel down continuous paths. A journey is sometimes circuitous. Boy is it today. Together we're gonna bob and weave and wobble around.
We fix an old sketch, we go on a garden walk, we abandon multiple ideas until finally, we land somewhere really profound. Or, if time is money, we made more expensive trash.
Who's to say? But what I can say is thanks for being here!

I really like how you show your whole process! Including switching to other projects and even taking breaks away from the desk when you're not feeling inspired. So helpful for artists to remember it's not always best to power through.

Thanks so much! “They” say that inspiration often finds you working. But with all things, I think that’s great advice until it isn’t. After all, shower thoughts are kind of famous for a reason. What do you like to do when you take breaks?

@@JessMakingArt I love nature, it features heavily in my art, so I will often go for a walk to reset. I try to be present and observe my surroundings. Something as simple as noticing the intricate pattern of veining on a leaf can evoke a sense awe and inspire me again.

Just wanted to say I like the style of this video. I've been watching your videos for a while, and have really enjoyed the little memes and edits you've started putting in. Keep up the good work, I really hope you keep putting out art!
