what this proves (and please don't take it the wrong way) is that you do not need 'natural talent' to become a great artist. If you work hard, put in the endless hours of practice and have that hunger to improve you can achieve great things. Your improvement over the last few years is astounding 👍

I'll take it a step further than that. In my opinion "talent" as a concept is one of the biggest lies people still believe and it undermines one's hard work and passion for something. "You have so much talent" is literally an excuse most of the time directed to one's self as in "oh, I would never be able to do that". I'll give the concept one thing though, "talent" exists in a form, and that is a series of events and experiences (especially at a younger age) from which one person can grasp certain concepts quicker than someone else or have a "higher" starting point than another person that didn't have the same experiences.

@@GaBY031000 I always though of people telling me I have so much talent as ridiculous. then while studying psychology at college there was a definition of talent that basically said that talent is a ability or perhaps inclination (I hope I am not loosing to much information in the translation to English) that has been worked on. so according to this definition when people say you are talented to someone it is exactly right even though they could view something different behind the term.

It is such a relief to be able to look through an artist’s development and it’s not all naked chicks… we really do I think all go through the same development with drawing, it’s just pushing past the bad days, learning to shade, learning anatomy, etc…

Cesars idea of priming a sketchbook and paint in oils in it is awesome. Started doing this in 2019 when I saw his video :) His class in Florence was incredible as well. Cool to her that you had a great time there too. Love this video. It's so interesting so see all these sketchbooks and all your work. Even if I didn't commented below the other videos.. I so love when you show building stuff for your studio and all the other behind the scene videos!!! :D

I know that this is a digital record of your progress, I will still encourage you to find a real safe place to store your artworks, any and everything you have created. I left so much of my youth work at home when I moved out and I did not specifically say “I want to keep this stuff”! My sister cleaned out my closets so she could move into my room and she simply put it in the trash. She did not support my art endeavors and so I have no early artworks. This video is truly a good thing but having the physical item is GOLD! Try to find a safe place for it!

What is first...the picture in your haed...or some skribbeling what inspires you? What atracs you in daily life? what turned into a peace of art of yours? Which kind of art or which artists have inpact on you? What is your "art heart" wish to do one day? Beeing in to everything and trying new things is, in my opnion, a defination of art...take something make something...material, pens or just toughts or dreams or feelings what ever. I am not a artist jet...maybe never...but I love doing things and putting things together...I call myself "multicreative"...don't have just that one I do and I love it. Thank you for sharing your journey.

I really want to spraypaint some drawings of mine.... I have these small lil stencils I've made and I've spraypainted them in random places but I would love to do something big like you. So, when you were just starting out with spraypainting your art would you pretty much just find a blank wall and do it? Seems like places, such as skateparks, are the acceptable environment to do it at without asking for permission / or being commissioned or whatever

ok i was like ok we have very similar raw style, im 30 now when i saw 2018 man with arm coming out his cranium i was shocked, i have drawn that exact same drawing back in 2013 wasnt a masive fan, always though my work would be stupid or not taken serious, so i conformed to traditional potraits, keep it going bro dont let anyone dictate your raw style, its a headfuck seeing your sketchbooks, your me in the future if i actually stuck to my subconsious style.
