11/25/2021 USA Grandpa Bill: I like you and your presentations. I've watched a couple of hundred of these on KZfaq during the past six years and you have a really good way about you. I intend to go back and watch every one of yours.

I just love your paintings - especially the vibrant colours - warms and cools together so it really pops. I've ordered your book. They say pick an artist whose style you really like and copy what he does to learn how he does it. You're it for me. Can't get enough of your stuff. No wonder they sell so well. I'm proud you're a Canadian and love your Canadian landscapes. A fellow Canadian.

Thanks for the demonstration! If you use too much water with acrylics to thin out the paint, will it affect the painting over time. Will it crack or peel? Thanks!

So. Sometimes when I'm coming back to add layers with acrylic I have a problem where subsequent layers just aren't coming off the brush onto the canvas. I'm just a beginner with this, do you have any advice?

Acrylic paints are water based so you use either water or acrylic medium to thin them. Water should be used in very strict moderation. Otherwise it will break polymer bond inside the acrylic paint. Paint thinners used ONLY for oil pants, never with acrylics.
