Discover the art of planting in a large-scale nature aquarium! In this second installment of our series, we dive into the detailed process of planting a 170+ gallon nature aquarium. Thanks to Tropica for supplying an array of stunning and healthy plants, we're ready to transform this spacious tank into a vibrant aquatic ecosystem.
Join us as Viktor navigates the intricacies of working with various plants, including Eleocharis parvula, Hemianthus ‘Cuba’ and Monte Carlo. We discuss essential topics like CO2 requirements, plant positioning, and common issues like algae and melting. Learn how different plants like Cryptocoryne parva and Anubias enhance various sections of the aquarium.
This episode is not just about planting but also about understanding the ecosystem within a large tank. From foreground planning with smaller plants to creating a stunning background tapestry, we cover every step. Plus, don't miss out on our fish selection process for this unique setup!
Stay tuned for our b-roll images, showcasing the tank with fish gaining color and adapting to their new home. We'd love to hear your thoughts on our fish combination and any other suggestions you have. Remember to like, comment, and subscribe for more aquascaping adventures!

This is one of the best videos. Because you show everything, from the plants to the fish selection. I miss that in many videos. The highlight is more than 3 minutes of the final look. This is how I like to watch your videos

Great work! (as usual from Green Aqua team). Please try to add part 3, with the maintenance session of this tank after a month, with plant trimming, caring and adjusting the new fully computerized pH and dozing systems etc.. because your videos are filmed (comparatively) with great care, great lighting, “neat” , vibrant, which overall makes it really soothing to watch, get highly inspired and improve hobbyists Worldwide. Special thanks to Ballaz, Vic and Tommy

That is art at it's best. You have done a phenomenal job, Aquascaping that gorgeous Aquarium, as it is perfectly balanced with the selection of plants and the wood placement. The only thing I would introduce is a nice school of Corry Dora and Cherry Shrimps. Like 312 is now up to say thankyou very much for taking the time to produce this content to share with us viewers the work of an Aquascape Artist. P.S. the comment is not worthy to be pinned. 👍🏼🙂👍🏼❤️

Such a great video! Bravo on the tank and the fish choices. I'm glad to see rainbow shiners, I feel like they get under appreciated. Balazs, you have such a peaceful and fun nature and it comes through in your videos. Thank you for sharing your builds and art with us. Just like listening to George Farmer calmly and quietly discuss the therapeutic nature of aquascaping while he does maintenance, I finish your videos feeling more at peace and optimistic. Deeply, thank you for sharing.

@green aqua & @Balázs Farkas i bought a Oase filtersmart 60 and filled it with seachems matrix, but the flow is bad do you have any idea how to fix this? you did the same setup in a video a while back and seemed to have good flow
@GreenAquaShop
@GreenAquaShop 6 ай бұрын
It should not restrict the flow, normally. Try to take out a little bit of matrix out, so it's not fully filled, just 90% or so. Maybe that helps. But flow problems can be other things too. Hose lenght (shorter is better), the height between the filter top and water surface, clogging of hoses, etc.
@BurtyHaxx
@BurtyHaxx 6 ай бұрын
@@GreenAquaShop thank you for the quick reply, i think it maybe a height issue then as the aquarium is only 30cm and the filter is on the same surface as the tank
