Creating a Postpartum Care Essentials Box for at Home! Prepping for post-labor recovery

Hey everyone! Today I am preparing a post-partum essentials kit to have on hand for after delivery. I know it's quite early (I'm only 30ish weeks!) but I really like to be prepared 😂 As a first time mom, I have no idea what I will actually need post-birth, so I based my products off of recommendations from friends and the millions of youtube videos I've been watching.
Please let me know if you have any recommendations for things I might need! And thank you so much for watching :D

I wish someone would have told me that I would need maxi pads after I gave birth! I mean, it has been almost 30 years so maybe they did and I wasn't paying attention. lol. I enjoyed not having a period for 9 months, and I guess I didn't really think about the fact that I would have vaginal bleeding for a while after giving birth. My poor husband had to go buy them for me since I was recovering from a c-section and didn't really want to go into a store and walk around!

Honestly I had no idea that happened after birth either until I started watching all these birth vlogs on KZfaq 😆 I feel like I wouldn’t know anything about birth if it weren’t for KZfaq. But it’s partly my own fault because I always forget to ask my dr questions 😅

Do you have nursing pads? I can't remember if I saw those in an earlier video or not. I highly recommend them. I had no idea that I would leak on one side while my baby was nursing on the other side! I was wiser for my 2nd baby lol

Yes! I forgot to share those! I also have this little hatch collector thing that I can use on the opposite side as I feed baby, we’ll see how that works!

with my 2nd, I used a high-quality pump, and usually pumped on one side while nursing on the other. @@sarahandandy2952

I thought the Tuck's were just for hemorrhoids, so you'd only need them in one particular spot?

I don’t know! I saw someone on KZfaq use them all across the pad but they say hemorrhoids right on the package so you’re probably right 😅
