I have been struggling for years to create tables of contents automatically in Word and I would always give up feeling frustrated and end up doing it manually. You can never fully appreciate this feature until you have spent hours of time trying to do it by hand. I never knew the solution was a simple-easy to understand KZfaq video away. Two thumbs way up!

Just so you guys know, pressing "update entire table" will get rid of any formatting, so don't format it (bold, italics, indentation) until you've got all your headings how you like them.
