i have a problem, my pen tool shape is not counted as shape for some reason, i can't set color of my grass. The only way i can do it is to fill path, but that only apply's color and shape directly to the layer but not the object it self.

how did you turn all those shapes into 1 layer? i can only merge the shapes but then the glow goes away and it looks really bad

my grass has no color i set my color picker to green but it still wont make the grass green

What are the possibilities with rigging and animating in Maya with a model made in ZBrush? Would you recommend just using Maya for detailed models or what?

As long as you retopologize the ZBrush model to have good topology, You're fine :D I have used ZBrush to start characters many times before, just gotta do some retopology afterwards before using it.

Yeah, I knew about retopology but I wasn't sure if I could rig and animate some parts of the body like the mouth or eyes, where if it was made in Maya you would have all the parts there for you to animate and rig.

You can rig anything you want to the bones O.o on how many meshes you want.

How do you group these shapes into a single layer without them merging together?

+Zoran P There's a folder icon on the bottom of the layers window, it's to create a group, You can either drag layers into it or click it to create a group and drag the layers into that group

I have 2 machines, my PC workstation has a 3gb GTX 580. I game on my PC, but I do the tutorials and work when I'm traveling on my Mac (When at home I work on my PC)
