Creating a Triptych - Affinity Photo

In this step by step video we look at how we can create a Triptych using Affinity Photo.
We start by measuring out the 3 equal panels before moving them into place to form our triptych. To give the panels more definition we use Layer Effects and finish the triptych by importing an image from Studio.

Thanks for the vid. I’ll use some of this vid to make slices for a print hopefully. Printer only does 13” wide. Would like to do this for a larger print. Say 24”x36” , maybe even 40”-44” wide.

Triptych look brilliant printed Thomas Tuorto, for bigger sizes I would send it away. Some of the online printers do an amazing job and are relatively inexpensive. Cheers David

My version of Affinity photo seems different to what you are using as I cannot seem to follow all the steps according to your instructions

Hello David Gilbert, are you using Mac or PC? I used a Mac in the video. If there's a particular step that looks different please let me know and I will check it on my PC laptop. Hope this helps David

GF Hardy, good point, so I looked into this and the definition is "The word triptych (pronounced trip-tick) has its origins in the Greek 'triptykhos' meaning "three-layered." It is, quite simply, a picture that is painted or printed on three panels." It can be one image or 3 on the same theme, it's easy to do the later using Selection and masking. Cheers David
