I thought it would be some kind of specific ring, but it came out to be a finger. Great job

The engineering is amazing! A simple rod and cam mechanism that makes the end of the prosthetic thumb bend inwards when the base of the thumb moves! Iron man!

Isso me emocionou, eu perdi metade da primeira falange do polegar da mão direita em abril de 2007, lubrificando a corrente da minha moto... Se podesse faria uma prótese como a sua.

I like it! Nice work, and the polish really shows the beauty of brass! Excellent functionality. You should do the last few seconds in slow mo, so we can get a better look at the piece, and not have to try to catch a glimpse. Thanks!

This man praises your name every day,I just know you have made something that he could never thank you enough for....the thousand odt little things that we need the use of a thumb for in just day life! Like holding a pen to write,or being able to finger tighten the lug nuts on.a rim with a flat..AND use a jack! Just think of all the things we take for granted! Our humane solution advance for one simple reason that made us where we are today- and that one thing was having an opposable thumb..Truth ! To me you have attained such a level of creative genius status that hits it out of the ball park! I'm so glad I watched this today and watched you during the process! You shine like a super nova sir!

@vinit dommeti at the end of the video it showed him wearing it and picking up objects. The thumb is essential to being able to get a grip on most objects, the bar he attached to the side of it allows it to move in the same way your muscles and ligaments move your thumbs. If you still don't see what I mean after this, experiment by having someone duck tape your thumb to your hand, being careful not to cut off blood circulation. I'd suggest a length of 1-3 full days at least.
