Hi all! We had an amazing trip to Japan and I even managed to do some work on location! The scenery was so stunning and we were so lucky with the weather, so I did a few quick sketches in my sketchbook. Wow, you had such a peaceful trip I'm finding the crowds here in Tokyo overwhelming and can't even imagine what Kyoto is like! Great that you got some sketching time in.

I found the crowds in Tokyo much worse than Kyoto! I think maybe because most of our Kyoto trip was spent in shrines and gardens, so we were in nature a lot more. I did find escaping into the gardens in Tokyo was much needed relief though!!

This was a fun adventure! And as always, I love your work! A question on that bright green brush pen.. is it a Tombow Chartreuse color? It's always my favorite green you use!

Thank you!! 🥰🥰 It's the Tombow shade 126 - definitely my most used shade!! It looks a bit brighter here in the sun than it is in real life so if you love a more vibrant green then you'd like the 133 too! 🤗
