Cookie Thurman Hi Cookie, I’m 60 and also a widow. I only discovered junk-journaling about 6 months ago. I turned my daughter (Emily) onto them, and since she lives 3000 miles from me, it has given us something kool to have in common. I still haven’t made my first one. Emily just told me about Maremi Smallart this morning. She said it is her favorite junk journal site.

As 2018 comes to an end I have been really tempted to start a junk journal for 2019 and I love to say that THIS video has truly made it final that this is definitely something I want to start doing . I love how much you don't care and just stick everything wherever you like. You make me laugh everytime I watch your video because you are so cute. I never see anyone binder the signature with washi which I think this is an awesome idea! I have save so much junk in my stash because they are beautiful. It's like listening to running water. I don't know where you're from but my grandmother was Romanian-Irish and she sounded just like you.

This is so beautiful. Sometimes these junk journals are so overwhelming for a beginner but this is perfect. I see my travelers notebook inserts together but I actually really like the look of the masking and washi tape holding it together for a junk journal. Thank you for the tutorial!

Dear Marta, I was working & thinking about googling junk journals when your youtube popped up. I saved it immediately so I could watch after working..... so glad you did this video. I am going to give it a try. As I’m watching your video I’m making earrings. I feel like I have a friend sitting next to me and we’re crafting together. I also take an organic approach when creating jewelry, I use whatever I have on hand which is always something I got on sale . Love this video.

Bravo!!! Marta this was so good and helpful. Your journal is soooooo beautiful, I've made 4 junk journals & wanted to know how to sew them inside a book cover. All 4 of mine are thick single signatures so therefore I must find the perfect book covers for my junk journals. Hope I can do a good job like this one you made. Thanks for sharing as always. I'm finding so much inspiration from this! It's been way too long since I've crafted in a journal, and I didn't realize how much I truly missed it. Thank you for all of your tips and inspiration. Also I'm not sure if anyone has let you know, but your channel is a great ASMR and altogether relaxing channel. I've been a subscriber for years although I fall in and out of art Journaling I always love your videos. Keep them coming! Also I really appreciate when you do video on things you can do cheaply since most (myself heavily inclued haha) don't have the ability to get expensive supplies. Thanks!
