This film is about capturing a moment in time, for the rest of time. This is more than just a miniature model, more than just a project, this is the moment in time I wanted to capture forever. I was fortunate enough to be apart of the small team that was responsible for the installation of all set-dressing elements that went into the entire new land. From the cables, panels, droids, and every other type of dressing you see, our team had a hand in it.
During our journey, my partner in crime and I had the wonderful opportunity to lead our own teams. Under the guidance of some amazing Imagineers, each team was tasked with bringing to life the small details, the details that immerse you in a story that many people grew up with. This project was about the memories and moments that we could never forget. It's about the biggest prop in the land.
The Millennium Falcon!
My partner in crime was tasked with leading the charge of bringing the best hunk of junk in the galaxy to life. We had the unique opportunity to help put the falcon together and do something that most people in this world would never get the chance to do. The time spent working on the falcon is one that we will never forget. That's what inspired me to make this. I wanted to take this once in a lifetime moment and have the ability to look at it, reminisce and remind us to always follow our dreams.
