Join me as I go through the steps of letterpress printing my wedding programme! This happened quite quickly over about 3 months and was finished at the 11th hour, just a couple of days before the ceremony.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped me in the process: MOTAT volunteers Makyla Curtis, Denis Wadsworth, Stephen Penney, Richard Kearney, and Alan Curtis; Cher Feary at NZ Fabrics & Yarn; the staff at Gordon Harris; and of course my husband (who during the wedding admitted I was right and everything was amazingly designed and he should've just agreed with me earlier in the process).
The programme was printed in Garamond 14 pt and Liberty Script 36 pt on a 1971 Heidelberg Platen 10"x15" at MOTAT in 2023. Filming was done using a GoPro HERO 10 and Samsung Galaxy A23. Additional photography by Zanda Photography.
