As a photographer, I checked the option with checkpoints you described. I think this Nik Collection update is fantastic and gives a lot of flexibility when editing photos and having fun with photo manipulation. I am very impressed and have great respect for the French engineers from the DXO team. At the moment, Photoshop is just a small addition to the workflow, where if you think about it, you can also make a vignette on the image, where you exclude the darkest parts of the image from the effect of the vignette when you use a negative brightness mask. Great respect for you and creators like you. Unfortunately, I don't speak English and it's difficult for me to use many of your contents, especially live, because I have no way of translating them.

That was one of the first things I noticed after installing Nik 7. In fact, I had meant to go to your review video and add a comment but forgot. Glad you found them. I'm really enjoying the latest Nik, they really have done a power of work on this version.

They should have kept negative control points as is. Just confusing, as evidenced by your goodself not understanding what was going on.
