Kanté was an almost unbeatable midfielder, he dominated the midfield against anyone he played whether that be as a box to box or as a holding mid. There hasn’t been a player who defends the back line and revitalises attacks like Kanté.

Carvalho didn't even get nominated for team of the season once. Kompany got nominated 3 times, won the football writers player of the year and had 2 iconic moments that will be shown everytime when the PL make a video.

Carbalho played alongside John Terry the entire time. Kompany was the main man throughout his entire time and was exceptional with many different center backs next to him many of which weren’t the greatest Mangala, Demichelis, Otamendi, Lescott, etc. We never saw Carvalho leading a back line.

Carvalho better than Kompany could be true but we really didn’t have the opportunity to see that. Carvalho played alongside John Terry the entire time and never was the leader of the back line. We’ve seen Kompany be exceptional no matter who was alongside him throughout the years. Even with some really mediocre partners such as Mangala, Demcichelis, Otamendi, Lescott Etc. Captaining teams to premier league titles, 100 point season, and the domestic quadruple. Really can’t see the argument for Carvalho. There’s big difference between being the leader and focal point of the team, or just being an exceptional player in a rigid defensive system alongside one of the premier leagues defensive icons

People who say Haaland is better than Aguero are just fkn clueless. Aguero was a better player in all terms and if he played in his prime or young age under this team and manager he would demolish every record and also City would be a lot more enjoyable to watch because Haaland is just a passenger for 99% of the game until he gets a good pass in the box. And also when City needed something from a player in a big game it was usually Aguero that delivered, Haaland is yet to have a single moment like that. Can Haaland be better sure, is he right now no.

Only definates on that list are cech, walker, Terry, kompany, Cole, lampard, kdb, Drogba and aguero, simply for longevity, they all dominated the league for 5-10 years respectfully, robben and sane are 2 of the stupidest picks I've ever seen, both top player but in the prem never reached their potentials, hazard makes it for me, and I'd take makelele or kante over Rodri, you need a cdm in there and the role is literally named after the guy, and kante dominated the prem for Leicester and Chelsea for years, theo banging on about haaland is infuriating, Drogba and aguero did it constantly for a decade, haalands been there 2 years, how to is he worthy of an all time 11, classic theo ball knowledge

David Silva is so easily clear of Lampard. It‘s crazy how he‘s in nobody‘s combined XI, when he‘s a top 3 City player OAT. Also Kante is way clear of Rodri. Any team that has midfield 4 must include Kante.
