Tim your ivy is brilliant, and the bramble is excellent, I will be using a similar method for my own brambles, thanks for sharing. I'm going to use a hanging basket jute liner instead of the polyfibre. Until next time Alex.
@thescrapline4905
@thescrapline4905 4 жыл бұрын
Cheers Alex. I saw the post about those hanging basket liners on FB. Certainly beats the cost of WS polyfibre. I'll be salvaging the fibre from the dogs stuffed toys when she rips them apart lol.

Interesting video Tim. A more precise version of my "Bush in a bag" technique. Yours is quite a simple method and one I'll definitely try in the future.

Thanks James. I watched your video, very simple, quick method that!. I managed to grab some interesting bush material whilst out on a walk around Wales last week, the wife was admiring the scenery whilst i was collecting it lol I'll be seeing what I can do with that next. Could end up doing your method.

I was hoping no one would notice lol. But his short videos are something that is so easy to follow and the format works. This video was a pain to edit just down to keeping timing of dubbing the talk with the video clips. I won't tell you how many takes it took just sliding the glue pot along the table top! One of the hardest videos I've edited.. Never again. Back to rambling as I film I guess.

Hi Tim! Excellent video - to mix up the textures try using horse hair for the brambles. Followed this from Jeff Reiten - ”quick easy blackberry bushes“ might just give a bit of variety and I know you love different textures.keep up the excellent work! Thanks Trevor
@thescrapline4905
@thescrapline4905 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Trevor. I do like Jeff's methods, very unique. Horse hair is a cracking idea, the rubberized stuff might be a little to course for brambles. I did pick up a clump from an exhibition and put it straight back down for that reason. His trees are spectacular, that's funnily enough something I'm about to give ago, got some ideas going on how to take them to another level - if that's possible 😅

Ah yes, I was watching some of yours recently, the crayon method for flowers is on the money. Furthers the range of colours from the very few products on the market at the moment and it's cheaper too.
