If this was a real season I'd need Q and Gabler on the same tribe constantly fighting so I could even possibly tolerate either one of them back.

I do think that saving the next returnee season for 50 means that players from Heroes, Healers, and Hustlers-Island of the Idols are probably going to get overlooked in favor of players from 41-48 (assuming they wont have time between production on 49 and filming for 50 to add members of that cast) It really sucks for the late 30s casts that spots for that first returnee season will probably prioritize new era over pre-40, and i kinda wish we got a returnee season in the last production block that could cover the late 30s-42

I'm not done with this video yet, but I'm not a super big fan of the list. I just don't really feel like the winners need a second shot no matter how good of characters they are (idk if you did Kenzie since I stopped at Dee, but here's my list 41: I haven't seen this season so I'll just steal yours sub Xander for Erika 42: I dislike just having 3 or the Taku 4, so we're gonna have Omar, Tori, Hai 43: Jesse, Karla, Cassidy 44: Carolyn, Frannie, Danny 45: Drew, Katurah, Kaleb 46: Charlie, Venus, Tiffany One restriction I gave myself was equal men and women, if not, probably I'd put hunter in over Tiff, but whatever. Also I'm casting for good TV and strategy, so the challenge strength is probably a bit lower than normal Now the tribes. This may or not be balanced, but I'm gonna just be going for 3 men 3 women and not completely imbalanced challenge ability. I'm also trying for 1 per season, but we'll see Green Tribe: Ricard, Tori, Karla, Frannie, Drew, Charlie Orange tribe: Xander, Omar, Cassidy, Danny, Katurah, Venus Purple tribe:Shan, Hai, Jesse, Carolyn, Kaleb, Tiffany I think these tribes look mostly fine, though half of the purple tribe were on their season's trainwreck tribe, so if history repeats itself that would be pretty comedic

I've always preferred not to bring back winners (except for season #40) to give other contestants a chance and the winners have already tended to get the most screen time on their season. Also winners don't usually do well on returnee seasons. Apart from season #40 only Sandra has won again and she was in a final three with another former winner and someone who thought he was a former winner at the time.

From what I have heard, Carson and Carolyn would likely not be invited, they have been bashing survivor and have a bad relationship with Yam Yam now and it sounds like they may get black balled

All I want for 50 is exclusively first time returnees. I'd PREFER to have players from HvHvH to IoI considered, but if it's only new era I'd be fine.

I want Carson/Yam Yam/Caroline just to have the "Carson votes out his parents" arc, ending with them voting for him to win and smiling like proud parents from the jury.

My only disagreements are: - I want Lindsay instead of Maryanne for 42, so we can see Johnathon and Lindsay square off again!! - I want Cody instead of Cassidy for 43, so that we can see Cody & Jesse once more. Loved that duo so much. - I need more Jake from 45. Dee made her case as one of the best, I’d give him one more chance instead. - And from 46, instead of Kenzie and Q , I wanna see Mariah and Charlie back at it again. But absolutely give Venus another chance. We need her chaos. GREAT picks. Honestly SUCH good casting these past seasons, so many contenders.

Would love to see Erika back, especially since we were blueballed so hard with her on Traitors Canada. I also think she would have an interesting storyline now that she’s come out of the closet post-winning.

I’m so glad to see you include Erika in this cast. I remember watching her game really closely after she played such a big role in the shan blindside. She played a much better game than anyone wants to give her credit for because “Xander was robbed” lol. I’d love to see her come back and prove all the naysayers wrong, including the editors.

14 newbie seasons (EoE had 14/18 newbies, so I'm counting that) with cast members that haven't gotten an opportunity to return yet. This is why you don't go 5 years without a newbie season after a big returnee season with extremely limited options. They'd better learn for the 50s and 60s.

My main concern with this list is no one can keep up with Jonathan physically, Hunter is probably the closest we’ve seen.

Picking Q and Dee was a choice, especially given Dee’s post-game drama. But picking Q over Charlie?? I’m down for venue, but I’d almost rather pick Charlie and Maria over Q and Venus…👁️🫦👁️

I’d worry about bringing Gabler back, he’s very old and likely destined to be an early boot which would be pretty lame

I personally think this should be season 48. Here me out. We already have survivor 47 confirmed to be new players which means right now this stretch of seasons 41-47 is looking very similar to other parts of survivor history. Where everything is pretty much the same-Same amount of players, same number of tribes, same format. This is really looking like the first ever 7 seasons of survivor where its a long stretch of all newbie seasons that culminate into one giant season. Season 8 of survivor was all stars where players from all across the previous seven seasons were brought back and i think survivor 48 would be a perfect time to do something similar but with the new era. It makes sense too since it was marketed as the new Era. My ideas about this season might be a bit unpopular but imagine trying to cast a season like this, you wouldn't want to cut so many great players and i feel like there is so many players who would be great to see back. So have there be three tribes of eight instead of six meaning the first ever season with 24 players. Its actually not that far fetched since you would want to go big for 48. Also season 50 was confirmed to be a returnee season so this would be a way to get people excited for 48 and not overlook it because 50 is around the corner. This way the new era gets their time to shine while still being able to have old players return for 50. Two big returnee seasons with one newbie season separating it sounds very unlikely but its not the craziest thing ever. season 25, 26, and 27 all had returning players with a total of 23 players being brought back between a three season stretch. Also second chance and gamechangers only had two seasons separating them. This is definitely the BEST way of doing it but i have a bad feeling that 48 and 49 will both do the same thing the past 7 seasons did. Really hoping my dream comes true
