Pro-tip: You can save recipes without finishing them. Make the potion as normal, the most efficient way and get it to the Level 3 position. Then save. That way you can then choose to make a potion that is weaker just by dumping some water in it. (This also works amazing with potions that use multiple ingredients)

Pro tip: at the top right, there is a feature to organize your ingredients. It looks like a 9 pronged star and it actually gives you hints at what direction might hold what potions. (I.e left is fire and you can find the fire potion there. up is wind and you can find the swiftness potion there, top left is magic and you can find the mana potion there.)

Dexterity means how good you are with your fingers, the hunter wanted it because it makes you good with a bow and ranged weapons in general, and the thief wanted it because winkling stuff out of pockets without the owner noticing takes dexterity.

There's a game literally called Space Engineer. It requires as the name implies engineering. SE 1 is a sandbox game that has a game engine simulating realistic physics for space and planets. SE2 is in development and the developers are saying they want a game with a upgrade tree and a goal in SE2. A bunch of stuff to look forward to with SE2. First I'll talk about SE1 which you can use to wage war on the enemy that is the Ravagers or you can trade. But beware of running out of hydrogen. In game you start with a drop pod and a full jet pack. If you fly recklessly and run out of hydrogen (jetpack fuel + other stuff fuel) during flight you might (probably will) die. But if you saved the only thing lost is your inventory. Mark the coordinates of your base and explore for resources to use to build in pursuit of R&D and better builds leading eventually to space. Watch Captain Jack's youtube Space Engeneers content to get an idea for what's possible. Almost everything Jack does is modded so keep that in mind.

This reminds me of the online game "The Codex of Alchemical Engineering". It's a similar concept, but based around designing and programming machines to get the right ingredients in the right places to make particular recipes. Getting all of the different processes co-ordinated in the later levels is hard, but fun IMO.
