Today, we'll be looking at some rumors surrounding the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series schedule and create the perfect calendar.

I found it interesting with you putting Michigan in the playoffs I always felt it would make a great track to be the last race of the regular season in late August

CTMP is a good track but i like Montreal better just because it’s a bigger market and CTMP is in the middle of nowhere

The NW/Xfinity races at Montreal were some of the best races of the season…as fun as Canadian Tire is, Montreal is a much bigger market.

Good ideas. I think the only thing I’d change is replacing the second Las Vegas race with a different track like Iowa or Nashville Fairgrounds to experiment with what the fan base would find interesting for the future marketing plans for events. The biggest change I approve of is Indianapolis. The Brickyard 400 was a huge part of my home state’s racing culture, and since nascar switched to running the road course, many of us Hoosiers who are diehard racing fans have complained about feeling that we’ve lost a piece of our pride because of this. So, having IRP and the Brickyard 400 in the same month is actually a nice idea. My only concern about it is that the track might actually be too small for Cup racing. Other than that, nice job.

I'm still a holdout for a cup race at Eldora one day....Otherwise htis is perfect. Love the IRP idea, I went to the truck race last year, and the SRX the year before that...love that f acility.

I think the southern 500 should be the only Darlington date. Build up the hype a lot more

texas has 3 ways it could go. (there is already a buc-ees next to it) 1. Reconfigure (hopefully old layout) 2. Warehouses (there are already 5 billion warehouses surrounding the track) 3. Good ol suburbia (please no)

Personally I think nascar would be better at a track like St. Petersburg over Chicago, but that is obviously not happening, and as someone who lives near the Milwaukee Mile, they would really have to up the infrastructure

Honestly I’m down for that Atlanta Being The Finale till Playoffs instead of Daytona. Both produce such good racing as a finale

One thing I would like to see is Long Beach on the schedule. Obviously not this season but maybe sometime in the future. It would be the perfect replacement for Chicago as the sole street course and since NASCAR has already tapped into the California market it would fit right in. It could also make a good triple header with the Imsa race, and indycar race.

I live near Kansas and went to the spring race this year and there were more there than in the fall. It was 85 percent full.

Wow, you really put a lot effort into this schedule. I can definitely see the 2024/25 season happening like this. You should show this to Dale Jr. He’s always finding ways to improve Nascar, so I feel like he could get the message out there.

I just want the Pocano Double Header back. I only started watching NASCAR in 2021, and I loved it, then! Plus the concept of 2 very different races, on the same track, with zero downtime in between, sounds incredible!

Pocono double header. But put it in August and NH in June that way New England can enjoy traveling to a date that’s close by lol.

I would love to see them run the outer loop at Watkins Glen, run the race track like other racing series do at that race track.

Id swap the second phoenix and Las Vegas races with a second Pocono and a race at homestead instead. Branch out more and give Pocono its due diligence

You can say Kansas spring race doesn’t have good attendance, but it puts on great racing literally spring race this year was the best race of the year

I am from New Hampshire. While I would put NH in the first round of playoffs because it is an hour above Boston and and 3 hours from New York City and clearly nascar wants to attack city markets. I feel the July race gets no fans due to the heat. I chug around in a racing jacket still because I’m that kind of fan. But that’s what others say. A few weeks before in the year it’s still gonna be hot but it is more comfortable in June here.

Crazy idea, we bring the month of May to NASCAR in Indy. Xfinity races with Indycar on the road course, and cup series races with Indycar on the oval. Puts people into the stands for both series, and should be a sellout of both races

Swap Milwaukee w NHMS (new track earlier in the nbc portion of schedule makes sense) and you’ve got pretty decent odds of being at least 3/4 correct here. But Daytona prob stays as reg szn finale, it works better for nascar sadly.

Love your picks and the work you put in it! Just earned a follower! Only thing is I love and I think the industry has settled for Daytona as the finale for regular season. Don't see that changing especially since Daytona doesn't want over the 4th

I’d personally like to see the night races return to Kansas Speedway. I live about 15 ish miles from the track and the memories I had when going there were the night races. I want them to come back as I really enjoyed them!!!!!

I love the Atlanta & Daytona switch! Texas should be on the schedule with a March date. NASCAR needs to be in that market, but the track desperately needs reconfigured.

As cool as a cup race on IRP whould be there is no way they make the trucks and arca work cause there not massive racing series but if you take the cup series there they amount of fans that whould want to go is gonna be wayyyy more than the seats avalable also the facilty is starting to show its age

Well, bud, after watching your video on how your 2024 NASCAR schedule would look like, here's what I have to say: First, I agree about Sonoma becoming part of the West Coast Swing with Auto Club Speedway being taken off the schedule, but I would have Sonoma as the first race of the West Coast Swing. Second, I would have Circuit Gilles Villeneuve take Sonoma's June race date while keeping Watkins Glen in August. Third, I agree about Atlanta becoming the regular-season finale while Daytona would be back on 4th of July weekend. Fourth, I also would like to see the Busch Clash return to Daytona on Saturday night before the Super Bowl and the All-Star Race return to Charlotte Motor Speedway. Also, I would like to see Chicagoland return to the Cup Series over the street race. All-in-all, in the end, that's all I've got to say, so let me hear what you have to say and goodbye!

Bristol ticket office is telling people there will be 2 Bristol races next year (I tested this myself and called) so I'd imagine even if it's not dirt somebody's losing a date in the spring for a Bristol Race.

The Atlanta finale is cool. If Phoenix wasn’t already set, I would move Dega to the regular season finale and let Atlanta return to hosting the championship as a night race.

I would've actually would have the All-Star Race midweek like on a Wednesday a few days before Coca Cola 600 and Atlanta Superspeedway would be a great choice for the last race in the regular season as a consolation and Daytona deserves to be back on traditional 4th of July week on July 6th & maybe Chicagoland could be the last date in June if the calculation is correct.

Well, Jacob, I agree about Atlanta hosting the regular-season finale with it being on Saturday night and Daytona back on 4th of July weekend while bringing Chicagoland back if the street race doesn't return. However, for the All-Star Race, I would put it back on Saturday night if it does return to Charlotte Motor Speedway. What do you think?

No... Just no. Rockingham isnt gonna be a thing for at least 5 years Montreal isnt gonna be a thing until 2025 at the soonest The Milwakee Mile to CUP will never happen And Texas still has races set for next year (I belive) Kansas Speedway with only one date is WILD! IRP aint gonna happen for CUP Bristol only having 1 date is WILD! I wish Bristol Dirt would stay but oh well Michigan should have 2 dates again (but thats just me apparently) I love the Brickyard 400 being back I love the July Daytona race I love the idea of green Sonoma I love the all star race back in NC

no. nascar needs more Saturday night racing. not Sunday night. its not Sunday night football. games take about 2 and a half hours. nascar races take about 3 to 4 hours. everyone has to go to work on Monday's

2025 I hope 2nd Daytona Date Race become Daytona Road Course and Night Race at 4th of July Weekends and One Kansas Date Race move to Mid-July and become Summer Night Race add Portland Road Course replace 2nd Phoenix Date Race and Portland Road Course become Father Day Weekends and I hope NASCAR rotate Tracks for Season Finale Darlington 3rd Date Race and Under the Light and add return to Road America become 9/11 weekends add more street circuit Las Vegas Street Circuit replace Las Vegas Oval Spring Race and NASCAR return to Texas Motor Speedway after Reconfiguration too 28 Banking for Turn 1-4 become Superspeedway just like Atlanta and become of Night Race at Texas and Darlington Spring Date move to Easter Day Weekends become of Night Race and Add Infield Light for NASCAR Charlotte Roval Night Race add Iowa Speedway and Add return Dirt Race Eldora Speedway since Truck Series and become Wednesday Night Race and Add 40 Races
