Some people now make fun of the classic Doctor Who Daleks but I think for the budget they did pretty well for what they had to work with.

Plywood??? you do know the first shawcraft Daleks were made completely from GRP (apart from the neck and base) in this are they referring to making the plug moulds first? to then create the finished item because we know full well that the 4 Daleks created that would go on through out the years of classic who were fibreglass reason why they lasted so long before the new upright Liverpool ones were swapped in ... and could have sworn they were £120 each but don't quote me on that one... £60 translated to 2021’s economy is just over £550… for 4 daleks… and that’s JUST THE DALEKS Edit: for some reason it gave me 1963 pounds to 2021 dollars conversions (despite me being English) so it’s actually £360… which is still a lot for 4 daleks! The budget for doctor who in 1963 was P H A T the doctor got them fat stacks in the tardis ngl
