I absolutely adore this song.When I was younger I lost my best friend in a horrific car crash and all I could do was be depressed. I was only 3-4 and I was to young to be depressed. I made an new best friend the same year and that one left me aswell for someone else. I thought my life was over. That's when I got introduced to someone I love. Sadly I had to move away from her and that was so depressing. I was about 4 & 1/2. I had an older sisterwho was kinda young at the time and she used to listen to this song on repeat 24/7. She showed it to me one day and after that I had belief in myself. I gradually made a new bestie my no.1 forever.but sadly I am going to a different highscholl to her but we seared on our life's we'd be besties forever. I love her and I know she will never leave me. I LOVE THIS SONG THIS WAS PATH TO MOVE FORWARD. Belive in yourself don't go mourning over the things you Lost

I saw an interview apparently this guy dropped out of American idol because he didn't wanna be known for that...he wanted to make his own way but he expressed he had no idea how to write a song he just had a good voice. And it kind of shows the transitions are really shaky still a great voice and the lyrics are beautiful it's just not well-constructed
