The first half of the kzfaq.infoUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.

Nice. I make them slightly different. I also put a board across the rails on the front. This helps keep them from bowing in the middle over time. I put another board across the top rails for an arm rest. And finally, my side armrests are wider to accommodate dinner plates.

Exactly how playground equipment with walkways to travel in between them is constructed. Even waiting for the bus would not be so bad with benches with wood and Iron Pipes or Metal to support enclosures and surround plexiglass for the wind, rain, and snow days. So exciting to watch resources be re-sourced to productive circulation and usage. Impressive!

А Вы дерзайте! Такие паллеты в любом мебельном магазине с избытком .Это сейчас писк моды.Продаются и подушки специально к таким диванам. Мой 15- летний внук делает сам всю мебель для своей комнаты.

Nice and I’m going to try it. You can tell each one of his projects he uses custom pallets. But you can still do it with used ones. Also they are so light looking as well.

I've seen pallets that are in great condition depends where you look the store that sells only batteries has great ones. Check out the UPS warehouses .

I've used older pallets to do this in the past. I even used the nails I took from them. Whatever their condition, you may only need to do a beautiful paint job.

I have often seen such well-thought-out work on my visits to the villages in Asia. In Germany it takes a long time to make construction drawings, in Asia a lot of people seem to have that in their heads. Good imagination and then work carefully. Bravo!

They never come apart that easy either.. not in Europe. Nails are bent an mangled wood is rough sawn warped painted, you name it, it’s on it.. wish I could get my hands on a couple like this!!

He may have used new pallets, although I get pallets that look this new through my work quite often. I don't think the point of the video is weather the pallet is new or old I believe it's about what can be done with a pellet new or used. Excellent work and a great idea, I will make this for my deck. Thanks for your inspiration.

I made this as per the video using old pallet, when it was done and had finish on it didn't look any different and I was able to sell it for $350 as a piece made from recycled pallets. Some the people commenting here have no idea what they are talking about and are far to picky IMHO.

Like it! You'd have to plane down some wood pallets as many use rough-hewn lumber. I've worked in stores where you either have oak or cheap pine. One time my dad took some pallets home and took the bottom 1x6 pieces off so he could lay them on two poles to build a bridge over a drainage canal. The bridge lasted a few years. The oak pallets seem to be rare nowadays. I hate it that there are wide notches cut from the 2x4s on some pallets.
