I'm in a journey for the ultimate budget sound setup for gaming and I'm very curious about the SXFI hype once it seems to match the FPS games that I play - like Escape from Tarkov, which a good speciality makes a lot of difference to spot enemies. So instead of the Creative SXFI headset, I'm more towards the Soundblaster X4 (which comes with Battlemode) and gives the same feature to any headset. I'm also considering a good wireless option, and in this case would be some 2.4 wireless headset like Corsair's Virtuoso + Soundblaster X4. Latency or quality loss issues this way? Does someone here had this experience already or have the Creative headset? Does it works better with open or closed back headsets? any other thoughts or suggestions on this?

Hey Malmo thx! At that price point you can get many Earbuds, but one that stands out to me is the Edifier TWS 1 Pro. That's really a good pair with all the latest specs! 😁

Hey Sean! Is it normal for wireless earbuds left & right earpieces to have slightly different battery levels after the same usage time?

if your headphone has two seperate battery then of course, when your listening to some songs, or playing games sound come from different direction therefore sometimes left louder, sometimes right louder. Thats why ur battery is slightly different

huh, sounds like the boom mike is in fact worth using even without background noise, although i love my clicky keyboard so perhaps that would be mitigated

Just be aware of the SFXI Control program, it crashed my office laptop and slowed down my gaming desktop to the point that moving the mouse was highly unpleasant.

Yeap it's pretty much the same without wireless. If your use case doesn't require wireless then u can save a lot by not getting the Air Gamer 😁

You'll be lucky to get half the stated battery life out of these at best, and I'll never know why they didn't just add battle mode as a firmware update to keep previous customers happy, plus you know the whole photograph in your head thing makes no difference it's just pure facial recognition scraping, I really want to like this whole line up with headphones but they do make it hard for you...
