This is only needed outdoors (indoor the shutter auto adjusts towards the rule), essentially, it's very specific for this camera, bright daylight ND64, towards sunset/sunrise/golden hour ND32, overcast ND 16, you can basically write that down and you'll be fine 😄

Indeed, if would be nice if there was an option for bundle pricing for maybe 3 filter pack, and 5 filter pack options and then you can pick and choose which you want for that given price.

most of the filter works that way, however, you can see in the video, you can still protect the camera with the filter mounted.

thank you for getting back to me . i had seen where someone tried to stack a black mist filter and ND filter from 2 deferent brands for the Pocket 3 and it repealed each other. I do know all the FW stack, but now wonder if it will stack with deferent brand. @@CharlieVN

@@Potatocustom I just purchased the Mega limited edition 14 pack by Freewell and the mist filter will not stack on the ND's from the same kit! Very disappointing!

All consumer grade multi-coated glass. No technical difference - pick a brand you like, but absolutely no one needs "mega pack" of ND filters. A reasonable number of stops, and a long exposure abd your good. VND is where quality becomes important.

my first choice would be no filter because you're using high framerate, which is more difficult to see motion blur at all. If you like to try it out, then ND32 basic, the PL didnt seem that different, more difficult to use, and cannot stack. Easier to raise iso with nd32, impossible to lower framerate if ND16 is not enough.

@@CharlieVN Thanks for your advice. 2 questions come to me spontaneously: 1) maybe the ND32 worsens the video quality slightly compared to an ND16? 2) since it doesn't make much sense to use an ND filter for a 4K video with high framerate, perhaps it is better to buy a CPL filter and always leave it inserted? @@ExploringWorldKZfaq 1. there is no noticeable difference between the two, ND16 is kind of in a weird spot, not dark enough for most of the day, but ok for when mid mornings and late afternoons. 2. yes, that is a good option, but keep in mind that even CPL's have some darkening, maybe 1 or 2 stops, so avoid during low light.

I like an image that is a little more contrasted, crispier and with more colour. I use D-Log M, do you think I'll get what I want with CPL filter? Thanks again.

@@ExploringWorldKZfaq Generally yes, but they can mess up skin tones, so be careful with that. if you like high contrast, try the default color profile instead, DLOG-M starts off low contrast, and is for people that want to not only color grade, but folks that add contrast after the fact in post. I have a lut for DLOG-M on my channel, it's free, but there is zero added contrast and often, I add it in post and have presets for each camera. The reason I prefer to do in post is because some scenes feel like there is enough contrast as it stands, so some clips may not get contrast treatment.

Freewell mist on freewell nd stacks fine

Thats what I have. I just bought the Mega Limited Edition 14 pack from Freewell and mine will not stack, Ive tried every combination possible, the magnets repell each other. @@CharlieVN
