You're supposed to use YT as a means to build business to your other online entities and/or offline businesses. Over depending on the revenue sharing program is where people go wrong. Especially if they're in low CPM niches.

youtube is making it more and more difficult to have a professional career from youtube alone without having to sell your soul. KZfaq should only be used as a marketing tool like social media. The golden era of youtube (2010 -2019) have long gone!

I really hope I don't give up LOL. 4 years in the making but I also try to divide my time as best as I can between family, fun, filming and editing. I'm also not trying to be rich. I just want to support my family similar to a full time job here. Good luck to everyone achieving their dreams.

First, I'd like to say all the best to anyone reading this. KZfaq is time consuming but it's important to find a balance. I'm a wife, mother of 5 and I have a small business (Geeky Girls Journal). I've learned that it's important to prioritize and to keep your priorities in order. Why are you here and how can YT help you accomplish your goals? Those are things you have to think about. If family is important to you, don't allow YT to consume your family time.

Many are turning content into “sponsor” aka advertising or hawking “ merch” t-shirts, hats and other promotional for their channel. Some are out of content ideas and rattle on about their daily pondering= boring. My point is the drop in revenue is partially lack of interesting content. “ name” my product is definitely boring.

A KZfaq channel is a business. Like any other business it need to be built, and it takes effort, resources and time. Some of us think that it is built overnight. It takes a team to run a business; one person or hundreds. It depends how big the business I want to get. In this economy one of the expenses business cut is the marketing. Advertising is part of the marketing plan, and this where the money is for many of creators. To maintain a business; it needs to be created everyday, We might need to consider to diversified. It is the same for any business or even a job, when I want to get better. Everything is changing, and I better get ready for it or I will be out of business sooner or later.

What I’m hearing is the same statement I hear from coaching clients and practice members everyday. Just regular folks, moms and dads, partners and parents with these same frustrations. Work is hard, life is hard, progress is hard, careers don’t always stay exciting. But many can’t quit. They can’t quit because they are just barely making it to start. And this is true across most professions and industries now. Stress and burnout, tighter profits and staying relevant in an ever changing market is exhausting for all of us. These folks have made some choices and had some opportunities that have allowed them to choose to move to the next phase of their lives and I’m happy that they can. For those who aren’t there, whether it’s do to continued passion for your work, the drive to serve or you just can’t, keep creating, keep serving and keep growing. Find support or be that support because the opportunities still exist across the platforms and in the brick and mortar world as well.

I made the decision that I'm not going to spend a lot of time editing because Eileen into perfectionism and I was spent hours and hours and hours and probably end up with nothing of Worth to post. So while it is filmed and recorded I consider it a live and recorded. If I really blow it I just consider that to be a rehearsal. Maybe I don't have a lot of traffic but I'm not doing something that I'm likely to burn out from.

The main reason is Ad revenue. Google Adsense has now only a CPM revenue sharing scheme, instead of CPC. So, instead of one click, creators are waiting for 1000 clicks to earn money now. It resulted in a drastic ad revenue fall. This became a vital cause behind the creators leaving YT nowadays.

Approximately 24 million new channels will be started this year. Most people that create channels don't know how to build a brand or how to create engaging content and don't post consistently. Do not rely on KZfaq as your sole income stream. As a former financial planner, you should have more than one revenue stream and recommend using KZfaq to build your own network or mailing list (think of having a newsletter, a membership site, a community like on Skool or Might Networks - create your own network of people who want to hear from you and buy from you and build it up so that even if your channel were to disappear you will have customers for life.

There's absolutely no shame in backing out of something if it's not a good fit anymore. Still, I agree -- when you have your own business, it's important to define, based on your values and goals, what "big enough" means. Business growth without clear directions or limits isn't sustainable and it isn't healthy. Even though this may not be accepted wisdom in some quarters of the business world, it's still important to define business growth individually with an understanding of why the business exists in the first place and what its benefits are for anyone involved. Bigger doesn't need to be the same for everyone.

Most people do not do KZfaq in isolation. It is a part of our business or it enhances a product we are trying to get out to the public etc. Do not think of it as a standalone job. In fact, no one should think of any one platform as they're only source of income because if it goes down you have nothing.

For monetization, we also need 4000 watch hours. That means we need a lot of views per video or enough videos to make up that 4000 watch hours. Not complaining, Just saying. I'm not the greatest presenter, but I might be monetized someday. I have things I want to add to the niche I create videos for.

Hello, I wanted to give whoever is reading this a heads up. I’ve been publishing KDP books on Amazon and have had some success. I recently found my books, as well as other books, being sold on TikTok Shops with the price marked up higher. I’m pretty sure what they are doing is buying the books on Amazon, which is cheaper, and then reselling them on TikTok shops at a higher price. Because of this, I will no longer be selling any books on Amazon and have unpublished my books, which broke my heart. I think you should do a video about this and let other authors know what’s going on with TikTok shops. This is a major problem and I don’t think a lot of authors are aware. Thank you.

You should not stop selling because then they win. Instead file a copyright complaint. Part of your right to copyright to your work is deciding where you want your books and how you want them sold etc and used.

You do not have to have an entire movie crew to make a video! Even Steven Spielberg, my favorite director, has a lot less crew than he used to due to the ability to use technology to do the job for them. The budget, likewise is also much less expensive. Of course I am a bit of jack of all trades and can do all aspects of video production. If you don't have the skills then I guess you would have to hire it out to some degree.

You're forgetting about the influence of AI which is caused an influx of less quality videos made by machine learning to compete with original human content. But do not let that discourage you. Machines will never be human no matter how much they want to and customers still want the human touch. You can use AI assisted technology to increase the amount of productivity you have in a shorter period of time but remember humans are unique and no robot can replace you.

Fuck all the assholes out there who act like KZfaq is a real job, it's not. 95% of youtube and steamers are people using other peoples creations and simply adding their own opinions to it... well sorry, but your opinions aren't worth a full time jobs pay. Prove me wrong.... People use content from movies, tv, music, etc... and "fair use" it and act like they created something.... You didn't create shit there... you created an opinion and in case you don't know they're not special they're like assholes, everyone's got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks while theirs smells like roses.
